Artemis Fowl and The Tertiary Dimension (On Hiatus)

{Chapter Six}

"Wait, let me get this straight, We are going to help this girl who you've literally just known in finding the supposed to be dead Opal Koboi? This is the most stupidest thing you had ever told us, meaning, you have this crush bad" Foaly cried. Though we were separated by a screen, I could feel the sarcastic and teasing aura laced in his every word.

"Be quiet centaur, for once" commanded Commander Kelp in a way that reminded me so much of Julius Root.

"And how are we sure that this Mud Girl was telling was true?" Holly asked, a frown on her face, tapping her feet in an annoyed manner.

A few minutes ago I had called Foaly, Holly and Commander Kelp for help, explaining the situation, inviting them to the room where it happens. I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose. I knew they would act like this.

"I do not have feelings for her, right now what I care about most is about Opal Koboi, though if what she said was a lie then there is no harm to it, a simple check would do"

"The harm is wasting our time. Look I know you mean well, but with no further evidence than a chat with another human, the council will aprove of it" Commander Kelp finalized, and I knew there would be nothing I could have done to change his mind now.

"If it really matters that much, I could do a quick look, and if she does exist and I see her, I'll tell you where shes was last seen inside Haven or above ground, if it will make you satisfied" Foaly suggested.

"All right then it's settled, Foaly will take a look, while you Artemis can question the Mud girl about everything she knows" Holly stated, and soon the meeting was over.

I tossed and turned in bed, and deciding I wasn't going to sleep very soon, bent over my bed where I kept my *diary hidden, and began writing my exchange with Holly about the new case whilst returning home.

11:00pm

Exchange of thoughts with a Holly Short

The one who started the conversation was Holly, asking me a favour.

"Artemis, I really don't want you to do this. We've just finished our last adventure, please take a break. There's a lot of people who care about you, think of them always worrying for your wellbeing, including me. You almost died last time."

"And I care for you and them too, that is why I need to know if she's really alive.She is a potential treat to everyone. And to be carefree with her is something I will never do."

"I'm not saying you should stop caring, I'm saying you should stop being too anxious. Leave it for a week or so, care for yourself and be more selfish, then once you've healed we'll continue"

"Holly please, let me continue, I'm not throwing away my shot at this lead, I will not stop to say no to this new treat we have found until I have deemed it safe."

"All I'm asking is for you is to stay alive, and that would be enough for all of us, no one is keen to losing you again"

"Will do Holly, will do"

Afterwards I closed my eyes and sighed,tomorrow I will look for her non-stop, but for now is time for me to sleep.

Oh Artemis, you say I'm your right hand man, yet I feel so helpless whenever a plan comes in your head. I just hope you'll be okay, arms, legs and soul, still intact after this.

Future edit: well thanks to this I now know when I began my addiction to Hamilton(June/19/2019), this is so cringy and I hate it yet it's so perfectly punny at the same thing time, I'm contemplating if I should edit this or not. Also as you can see I'm back from the dead of being just a reader to writing again, praise me. (I'm kidding I'm sorry for ghosting you all, please forgive this Izuku loving ass, I will share him with you)
