Chapter 31
"You sneak back in everyday, hoping I can't hear you. You think I don't know why you spend your weekends and nights out? Partying and picking fights?"
The voice filled his head, the venom in her words stung worse than any physical wound. She didn't know about Taehyung's job. She didn't know how much it killed her son, her little boy, too see her bed ridden day and night while he fought through life without a mother. She was all he had, but even she was going to leave. He knew it would be soon, and even with that knowledge, he still couldn't bring himself to look her in the eye and tell the woman how much he adored her and how much he was hurting. And now she was hurting worse because he was a coward.
