Roni's POV
"So, I stick the tack on the teachers chair right, and when she sits on it, she yelled so loud that the half deaf teacher who worked on the 3rd floor heard."
Bursting into more fits of laughter, I felt tears from my eyes stream down uncontrollably. It didn't take long for Trey to ask me out, in fact, it was almost 3 hours after I got out of the hospital. He was already at my house when I arrived, and he had asked my moms permission when he got there.
He bought me a single red rose, and told me to be ready next Friday at 4pm. He didn't tell me where we were going, and to be honest I didn't care.
We had lunch at a nice café, he paid the bill, and drove us to the beach. It was the beach where I first met his daughter, and it was full of history between us, which was both good and bad.
We mostly hung out by Snack Shack and got our feet in the water a couple of times. We never ran out of things to talk about, so there was never a boring moment.
We talked about school, our dreams, favorite t.v shows, music and shoes and anything our minds jumped too.
Trey was currently talking about the time when he was in 4th grade and played a prank on his teacher by using the classic Tack on the seat trick and my giggling couldn't be tamed.
"A trouble maker from the damn start.' I say shaking my head giggling.
Trey scoffs. "I'm a good boy." He replies with his hands over his chest. "I get A's on my Physics Homework."
"That doesn't make you good, that makes you smart, dumbass."
"You said I was smart, but you called me a dumbass. What am I Roni?" Trey smirked and I rolled my eyes lightly smacking his arm.
"You know what I mean, fool."
"All of this verbal abuse on our first official date." He lightly chuckles. "I expected for you to thank me and shit."
We were walking along the warm sand, and I stop walking and stand in front of him. His chest was so close to mine and his beautiful eyes were looking down at me because he was so tall. The wind had picked up a comfortable breeze, setting the mood.
"Thank you." I say as a whisper. He was watching my lips as I spoke.
"I love it when you whisper..." he comments out of the blue.
"Because I'm so loud most of the time?" I joke but his face remained serious.
"Because your voice is like sweet, smooth chocolate... and I want to taste it so badly."
"I'm not easy to convince." I play hard to get with him by whispering again. "You should know this."
"I'll persistently try. I don't care how long it takes. Because your worth it."
Then he kissed me. I was little shocked, but then I started to kiss him back. There was something about this kiss that was special, it was not full of lust, it made my skin tingle and the sparks when our tongue touched was amazing. After a while, I pushed him away because I needed to breath. We just stood looking into each other eyes not saying anything, while the sun was setting.
Trey gave me a piggy-back ride on the way back to his car. We got in his care and he drove me home. When we got to my house, we just sat their for a minute, then he got out the car and came around to open the door for me. Before I walked up to my house, I hugged him and gave him a peck on the lips.
"Thanks for making this date really special," I said, looking up at him.
"No problem, baby" he said smiling. He gave me one last kiss, hopped in his car, and drove off.
As I walking up my drive way, it felt like someone was watching me so I started to quicken my pace. Next thing I know, I being grabbed, a cloth goes over my nose, and everything turns black.
Trey's POV
I had just dropped Roni off at her house from our date. I am beginning to have strong feelings for Roni. I have never felt this way with any girl, even Zoe's mother. It is just something about Roni, that I find special. It is her beautiful smile, angel laugh, sway of her lips and her overall beauty. Man, I sound whipped and we are not even official together, yet.
I drove to Dean's house, where the whole gang was supposed to be meeting up to talk about wwho shot Roni. Finally, I got to Dean's house and dapped everyone when I walked in and then sat down so we could start this meeting. Before we could start, my phone went off signaling that I had a text, the text was from a unknown number, but I still opened it. It was a picture message showing Roni in a chair, with her hands and feet tied up and tape covering her mouth and her head was down.
"WHAT IN THE HELL?" I yelled. All the guys turned to look at me and Dean came over to see what I was looking at. I could hear him cursing under his breath. Then, my phone rang and it was from the same number, Dean grabbed my phone, answered it and put it on speaker.
"So, did you get my message?" a voice said, it sounded like a guy.
"What do you want?" Dean asked.
"Revenge" the person said, then hung up.
I was beyond angry, that I punched a hole in the wall. I was breathing heavy and my heart was racing. All I could think about was if Roni was okay and who is this person.
