Steph's POV
After everyone left the hospital, me and Dean decided to go get something to eat before he dropped me off home. We chose a small family restaurant, that were known for the delicious food. I felt kind of nervous as we were getting closer to the restaurant, because it kind of felt like a date, but it was not. Throughout dinner, we laughed, joked, and got to know each other a little bit.
He went into depth about when his mother had left him and his family. His father was always home and jobless while his mother was on the streets doing some "things". Yea, those kind of things. He has 2 little brothers and 1 older brother. There's Brady and Broody, the twins whose 15 and then there's Jimmy whose 19. His mom left them because she thought they were worthless and pathetic and didn't want to be one of them. She's the pathetic one for abandoning her fucking family.
I thought was really sad, and felt like crying. Don't blame me for being emotional. Other than that, he told me that he lives with his mother, and his little brother. He liked to ride his motorcycle, play basketball, chill with his fends, and just relax. I told him some things about me, except about my parents, because I don't like to get on that topic.
After we finished with our meal, he dropped me off home. When I walked into the house, it was so quiet and lonely. My parents never seemed to be home, they were always away on business trips and other job related things. They act like they don't have a 17 year old daughter at home, who needs her parents. It just really pisses me off.
As I was sitting on the couch not really watching the movie, I started to think about Dean and the boys. There seemed to be a something they were not telling us, which they didn't have to tell us, but still it might can have a huge effect on us in the future. This was all I could think about while sitting on the couch. Then all of suddenely I hear a slamming of a door, I look towards the door and see my mom and dad walking into the house. They were not supposed to home til Monday.
They then sat in the two chairs in front of me, that's when I decided to sit up completely on the couch.
"Hey darling, I know that we are kind of home early, but we have a matter that we need to dicuss with you," my mom said with straight face, as did my dad did too. Let me prepare myself for this bullshit.
"Well, me and your father decided that we are going to get a divorce," my mom said, like she didn't care. I sat there in disbelief, but then I felt anger boil up in me, that I had been holding in for the longest.
"Are you fucking serious? What the hell?" I yelled at the both of them.
"Young lady, you are not going to sit her and disrespect me and your mom we are--" I interuppted my dad.
"Parents?! You know that is a lie, you people have never been my parents, you have never did anything that parents done," I yelled, I was beyond pissed.
"We have taken care of you, and gave you everthing you have wanted, you are acting ungrateful," my mom said to me yelling.
"HOW CAN YOU SAY I HAVE BEEN UNGRATEFUL? I AM GRATEFUL FOR ALL THE THINGS I GET, BUT THAT DOESN'T MAKE YOU PARENTS. FIRST OF ALL, YOU ARE NOT PARENTS, YOU DON'T SPEND TIME WITH ME OR LOVE ME, ALL YOU DO IS MAKE SURE I HAVE WHAT I NEED. YOUR JOB IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ME!!!" I say yelling at them, while standing up. My father stood up.
"LITTLE GIRL, I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE TALKING TOO, WE DO WHAT WE HAVE TO DO FOR YOU, ME AND YOUR MOTHER JUST DON'T LOVE EACH OTHER LIKE WE USED TO," my father yelled at me.
"WELL I GUESS YOU GUYS DID STOP LOVING EACH OTHER, WHEN DAD HAD AN AFFAIR FIRST OR WAS IT MOM," I said, they had a shocked expression on their face because they didn't know I knew,"OH YES I KNOW ABOUT THE AFFAIRS BOTH OF YOU HAVE BEEN HAVING, IM NOT THAT STUPID. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT FUCK THE BOTH OF YOU, I AM THROUGH WITH THIS FAMILY, I SICK AND TIRED OF NOT HAVING A FAMILY THAT LOVES ME. I AM LEAVING!!!!".
I leave my parents in the living room, and run up stairs to my room. I throw some clothes in one of my luggage bags, and my body care things. I run back downstairs, grab my car keys and purse, and walk out the front door. I throw my bags in the backseat, and then I saw my mother run out the front door, and I stop before I was about to get in the car.
"Were are you going?" she said, with tears in her eyes. All I could do was roll my eyes in my head.
"Why the fuck would you care? I mean you never did," I said. Then hopped in my car and drove off to Roni's house, with tears running down my face. I seriously need a friend right now.
