[4;57pm]
An excited but at the same time annoyed feeling fulfilled your body as you dressed up for a small event. In your eyes it was little to not important at all, why would you even go? Unfortunately, your parents decided to force you to accompany them and appear at this party, your little cousins birthday. She had just turned eleven years old a few days before a party got hosted for her. You actually were known to attend festivals and stuff but not this kind of event. A bowling alley celebration. Your cousin loved that sport so she had picked it as her venue once again. The past five years she wanted to celebrate there and each time she did. The first few times were still enjoyable for you but after such a long time it became kind of boring, at least in your eyes.
With no slight beam of happiness you accompanied your parents on the way to the bowling alley, only some short minutes away from home. Your deep inner tried to convince you that something good could happen so a reason to be happy, but your deepest inner told you it wouldn't. Gifts for her were already prepared, ended up being some new clothes.
[5;12pm]
With a fake smile exchanging your neutral facial expression you entered the building, already getting greeted by Ledicia, your cousin. "Happy Birthday!", You shouted happily and in an hyperactive way as she ran towards you for a hug. When you could feel her arms embracing your waist an emotion similar to satisfaction ran down your spine. Quickly you handed her the present as she had let go of you. Not knowing anyone else than Ledicia, you sat down on a nice chair near the bowling alley. All her friends were so young, a shame you could barely got along with kids.
Everything happened to be like expected. Boring, lonely, hungry. Your phone seemed to be your only friend since Ledicia was busy holding a conversation with her friends while the adults had their own talk. The only thing you were sincerely looking forward to was playing bowling after such a long time again. In most cases it made you gain confidence, you always landed one strike after another.
Suddenly your aunt walked over to you at a faster pace. "Hey, Y/N. I'm sorry to say that but the alley is full. Ledicia picked you to be the one not playing with them.", She explained this information, making you feel disappointment to the fullest. That's how much your cousin supported you, wow. To show manners you just nodded, accepting the hard truth.
[5;59pm]
"Go, Ledicia! Hit that strike!", You shouted as you were watching her and her squad play against each other. She wasn't doing bad to be honest. Though watching them was quite a good timekiller, you began feeling lonely. Unhappiness beat the other emotions, making you feel unsatisfied with the whole situation.
Something what happened to your surprise was when a cheerful shout could be heard from the neighbor bowling alley. You threw a short glance over to the person cheering for their friend. A decent giggle escaped your mouth as you watched that boy screaming. After all your laugh was loud enough for him to hear it. He turned his head to your direction and gifted you a simper, probably the most beautiful one you had ever gotten to see. Both of you were constantly cheering for your team, every once in a while looking over to each other. Finally, the boy decided to walk over to your table.
At first you didn't even notice he's approaching you until your table moved slightly. That grabbed your attention, you looked up from your phone. The handsome boy from the other team was now sitting across the table. Blonde hair, white vest, a blueish iris, tall, good body, slightly dark makeup around his eyes, smile like no one else. Beauty in person. Again he presented a smirk to you, receiving a shy smile from your side.
"Why aren't you playing?", He asked before any greeting, raising an eyebrow. A silent sigh left your mouth "It's my cousins birthday and the team is already full. She eliminated me from the team.". The boy's expression turned sad after he had heard that sentence. But abruptly he poked your arm, smile covering his mouth "Our round is currently full as well but you can still play with us. We'll just alternate.". Amazing offer but you didn't want to make a selfish first impression. The boy begged you to join them as you tried to reject.
Logically, you didn't have the fitting soul to deny his puppy eyes. His mates looked at you in a surprised but at the same time welcoming way. "By the way, my name is Seonghwa. Pleased to meet you.", He bowed slightly, a sign of respect. You totally weren't used to that but of course you imitated him when introducing yourself. The other members of his team also let you know what to address them as.
[6;18pm]
It was Seonghwa's turn to play but he sent you to do that instead of him. "What if I fail?!", You shouted with a smile while walking to the alley. The only thing you could hear was Seonghwa's laugh drowning the other boy's giggles. "It's okay! He's the last place anyways already!", Mingi screamed, suppressing a laugh. Also you had to snicker but when the bowling ball arrived it grabbed your entire concentration. You seriously didn't want to fail, once you wanted to impress somebody.
Quickly your hand took a slight swing and let go of the ball in the right moment. With hope fulfilling your entire body you waited for results. Like assumed actually, a strike. All eight boys applauded while literally screaming and cheering. Seonghwa jumped up "Aye, that was awesome!". This sentence made you laugh uncontrollably, not even a sense of shame was felt.
A little while later, Ledicia shouted out for you so you quickly went over to her. She just wanted you to see her results, quite good.
Luckily, she let you go a few minutes later so you could finally return to your new friends. As you arrived at that table again two glasses of champagne stood on its surface. At first you didn't know what to think now, everything was unclear. But only a minute afterwards, Seonghwa appeared again. He touched your shoulder when standing behind you. This touch made you turn around to see the boy. Seonghwa held a little flower bouquet in his hands, a bunch of pink and red roses. What a kind gesture. A wide smile showed up on your lips, he smirked as well. "Maybe not the most romantic place for a first meeting but I'm very glad I've met you here.", Seonghwa admitted, handing you the roses. Instantly, you blushed. You had to admit the same, another smile was his reaction. Right afterwards the boy tangled you in his hands, this hug was irreplaceable. This evening turned out better than thought.
