As I looked up to the sky there were black clouds gathering. I didn't want to get my clothes wet, so I ran until I seen this park. I never thought about how it would feel living in at a place I loved to play, but I knew I had to get used to staying there. I made me a bed out of my clothes inside the playground tunnel. It wasn't the best place to sleep and I hated being outside. I was out there when it rained, when tornado warnings was on, when it thundered and lightening struck the sky and when hail dropped. It was the scariest thing I ever went threw. I mean some people are afraid of thunder and they live in houses. Me I lived outside with the shit, so I'm terrified til this day. Mannn, I use to go around asking for money, so I could by food and y'all would of thought because I was a kid people would have helped me. Hell naw they walked right by me like they never seen me. I was so hungry I didn't know what to do, so I walk into a place that sold burgers and fries. I asked every employee if they could feed me cause I haven't eaten in days. They told me leave and get out, I refused. Finally I asked this man behind the counter, if he could give me food and he gave it to me. He got in trouble by his boss, but I could tell he didn't care at all about what his boss was saying. All of a sudden the man's boss comes out to me. "Little boy... What's your name?" "King" I said. "Are you homeless?" He asked. "People don't love me at all, so I'm all alone" I replied sadly. "Somebody has to love you, Where do you live?" he asked. I replied "The parks tunnel." He sat there confused then asked me what it was I said " you know the tunnels at the playground?" He said "yes." I said "Thats where I stay, I sleep there." He put his hand over his mouth in disbelief. "Son come stay with me and then we'll figure out where to send you." I stayed with him for a couple days, then he told me he found a place for me to go. We hopped in the can and he drove me to the Orphanage I grew up in. I just sat there shaking my head then I got out and when up to the door. The Orphanage lady opened the door, I looked at her and smile. She said "NOOOOOO LORD WHY DO YOU PUNISH ME." I just walked right passed her and put my bags in my room.
