Astrid P.O.V.
We were still battling Grimmel's men while Hiccup was battling Grimmel. We finish saving all the dragons, so I started looking for Hiccup what I saw scared me Grimmel was holding on to Hiccup flight suite while Hiccup was letting the Light Fury free so she could save Toothless.
I was scared and all I could do was scream. "HICCUP!!!" I was about to and save him until I saw the Light Fury flying towards Hiccup. I saw the Light Fury save Hiccup and was relieved that he was alright. We all landed were Hiccup and toothless were. I helped Hiccup walk since he did give up his leg. I was so happy that Hiccup was alright but when I saw his face my smile turned into a sad face because I knew that it was time to say goodbye to the dragons. I turn to Stormfly and took off her Saddle.
"Stormfly my good girl." I said while hugging Stormfly before she headed to the Hidden World.
Everyone in the Village took there dragons saddles off and waved goodbye to them. The dragons were headed to the Hidden World everyone was crying and had tears coming down there onto their cheeks. I saw Hiccup in the front of the whole village and decided to stand next to him. He saw me and put his arms around my shoulders as we saw the dragons leave. After a while the most of the village started leaving I was still not going because I didn't want to leave Hiccup alone. We were about to head to New Berk but I decided to stop Hiccup and hug him tight.
"Is everything alright M'lady?" Hiccup asked.
"Am just relieved that's all."
"Relieved of what?"asked Hiccup.
"Relieved that your okay, I was scared when I saw you falling with Grimmel I thought-" I wasn't able to finish my sentence because I felt Hiccup's kissing me and decided to kiss back. After a while Hiccup pulled away.
"I was scared to Astrid, I wasn't really thinking about anything else besides making Tooth-less happy." Hiccup said with a tear coming down his cheek.
"I know you miss him already Hiccup I miss Stormfly more than anything."
"Am just happy nothing bad happen because then I wouldn't be able to- ." said Hiccup.
"Able to what?"
"Hold on it's somewhere in here."said Hiccup looking in his pocket. I was confused at this point.
Hiccup P.O.V.
I started looking for the ring that took me a while to make for Astrid in my pocket. I decided to ask her at this moment before anything else happens.
"Ahh found it." I said pulling out a box.
"What is it?" asked Astrid.
"Astrid I know you said we weren't ready but I don't want anything bad happen anymore o I wanted to ask you... Astrid would you marry me?"
"Hiccup I- ." said Astrid
"You don't have to say yes I understand if your not- ." I didn't finish my sentence because Astrid pulled me into a kiss and I happily kissed back until Astrid pulled away.
"Hiccup of course l'll marry you." Astrid said giving me a big smile. I put the ring on her finger after she said that. We decided to sit down at the edge of the cliff watching the sunset.
"Hey... Astrid can I ask you something?"
"Sure, what is it?"asked Astrid
"Do you think were ready? Because if you don't think so we can always wait..."
"Hiccup... I know we're ready I just said we weren't because... Gobber embarrassed me."said Astrid.
"So you were embarrassed?"
"Yeah I didn't know what to do, so when I left the great hall all I thought about was you and me in the future."said Astrid.
"I thought about for a while but when you told me that we weren't ready I understood were that cake from so I didn't want to pressure you into getting married soon."
"Am sorry... I just didn't think that I would end up in this amazing place I am now."said Astrid.
"What do you mean by that?"
"Well I never thought that Vikings would be friends with Dragons, I never thought I would be in a relationship with the Chief no less."said Astrid.
"Really? I always thought you would be in a relationship with someone, I mean your Astrid your a warrior." I said as Astrid started to blush.
"Thanks, but I always thought of being a Shield-Maiden until I started to have feeling for you, I knew I wouldn't be able to set my feelings aside so I didn't become one."said Astrid.
"Well that's a relief or else we wouldn't be we're we are now."
"Yeah... It's getting late, we should probably head back and set up our tents."said Astrid.
"Yeah...."
"Hiccup... if you wouldn't mind maybe we can sleep in the same tent so, we won't be alone since the dragons are gone..." said Astrid in a sad voice.
"I think that's a good idea." Me and Astrid started walking towards the village about to make our tent.
"Hey Hiccup... thanks again for everything."said Astrid.
"Anytime M'lady, like I said before "There will always be a Hiccup and Astrid always."
They both finish making there tent and knew even if the dragons are gone they always have each other forever and ever.
