It was a early morning on New Berk everyone in the village was still asleep everyone except one little girl Zephyr the daughter of the Chief and Chieftess. Zephyr was up early because it was her birthday today and she was super excited that she got up early to wake up her parents. Zephyr headed to her mom and dad room and when she got there she started to jump on the bed.
"Mommy,Daddy wake up!" Zephyr shouted.
Hiccup and Astrid groaned but when they saw Zephyr with a big smile on her face they woke up.
"Sweetie is everything alright?" Hiccup asked yawning while getting out of bed.
"Yes Daddy am just so excited that I couldn't sleep." Zephyr said.
"Well what's all this excitement about?" Hiccup asked Zephyr while smiling at her.
"Daddy, do you not remember what day it is?" Zephyr asked.
"Of course I do sweetie, how can I forget your birthday, Happy Birthday Zephyr." Hiccup told her kissing the top of her head.
"Happy Birthday Sweetheart." Astrid told Zephyr getting out of bed herself.
"Thank you Mommy and Daddy." Zephyr said.
"So what do you want for breakfast today?" Hiccup asked Zephyr.
"Surprise me!" Zephyr said.
"Alright don't come downstairs until am done." Hiccup told Zephyr heading downstairs.
"Okay Daddy I'll stay here with mommy." Zephyr said.
Hiccup was in the kitchen making breakfast while Zephyr and Astrid were upstairs playing with each other.
"Mommy... can I tell you what I really want for my birthday?" Zephyr asked.
"Of course you can sweetheart. What is it that you want?" Astrid asked Zephyr.
"Well... I wanted a little brother or sister so I can play around with." Zephyr said.
"Well..." Astrid said.
"ASTRID, ZEPHYR BREAKFAST READY!" Hiccup shouted from downstairs.
"You heard Daddy, Breakfast ready we don't want to be late for your birthday party later so we should eat breakfast." Astrid told Zephyr changing the subject.
"But Mommy." Zephyr said.
"No Buts, come on before you father eats everything." Astrid told Zephyr. Zephyr ran downstairs to go eat breakfast. But Astrid was still in the room wondering how to tell Zephyr and the village that she was pregnant since the only one she told was Hiccup and his mom and her parnets . The Haddock family finished eating Breakfast and headed to the New Great Hall. Everyone was already there celebrating Zephyr birthday until it was time for her to open her presents.
"Here you go Zephyr a present from me." Fishlegs told her handing her a book.
"A NEW SKETCHBOOK! I LOVE IT! THANK YOU UNCLE FISHLEGS!" Zephyr shouted hugging Fishlegs.
"Of course anything for you." Fishlegs told Zephyr hugging her back.
"My turn!" Ruffnut said handing her a necklace. "Here you go Zephyr Happy Birthday." Ruffnut said.
"THANK YOU AUNTIE RUFFNUT ITS BEAUTIFUL!" Zephyr shouted hugging Ruffnut.
"Me next!" Tuffnut said handing her a zippleback pin. "Here my present to you." Tuffnut said.
"I LOVE IT THANK YOU UNCLE TUFFNUT!" Zephyr shouted hugging Tuffnut.
"Well Zephyr here is my present to you." Snotlout said handing Zephyr a new satchel.
"THANK YOU SO MUCH UNCLE SNOTLOUT! I LOVE IT NOW I HAVE SOMEWHERE TO CARRY MY SKETCHBOOK!" Zephyr shouted hugging Snotlout tight.
"THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR THE BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!" Zephyr shouted.
"Zephyr honey me and your father actually have one more gift for you." Astrid said.
"You do? But what could it be?" Zephyr asked.
"Well you know how earlier you told me that you wanted a little brother or sister for your birthday, well am happy to tell you that am pregnant and you will have a little brother or sister in 9 months." Astrid told Zephyr.
"Am going to be a big sister?" Zephyr asked.
"That you are sweetheart and your going to be the best big sister." Hiccup told her.
"I can't wait to meet him or her. Am going to love them very much just like so love you guys." Zephyr told her parents having a family hug. Everyone in the village started congratulating the Haddock family about the news until Zephyr shouted " BEST BIRTHDAY SURPRISE EVER!"
