Goten was flying towards you while he was shouting that everyone was back. Gohan was back. It almost felt like no time at all. But, you could only imagine how everyone else felt while fighting. It must have felt like days for them.

Goten landed on you as he hugged you. "I'm so happy big brother and dad are back. I know it wasn't long but..."

There was a bit of a pause. You were starting to think that you understood where he was coming from. You remembered the times when your parents would fight and had no idea when your dad would come back - if he would come back at all. Even though their family is a lot healthier compared to yours, this doesn't feel like the first time their dad had to go away for a long time. You hugged him back and smiled. We all knew that they weren't going to be gone for a very long time but the fact that they were fighting for their lives and everyone else's made the experience that much scarier. You still weren't sure if his dad spoke to his mom or anyone else about it truthfully. You were also well aware of the fact that story getting changed up here and there.

"I think I know what you're trying to say Goten. But, the worst is over. Everyone is back home and we can release all the tension now." You gave him a kiss on the cheek trying to soothe him more. He kept holding on to you.

"Thank you, big sister." You were a little surprised to hear him call you that. You remembered what he said earlier but now he was directly calling you 'big sister.' It made your eyes tear up a bit because you didn't have any siblings of your own and this is probably what it feels like.

"Any time...little brother. Come on, let's go greet everyone."

"Sure thing!" He replied as he took you gently by the waist, which was safer, than your arm, and flew with you across the grass to the door you exited from earlier. He was strong but you weren't sure how strong he was considering he is still a child. But, strong enough to go such a long distance, while carrying you, without getting tired.

"Follow me! I know the way to the top!"

"Roger that!" Now that you were on your way to see Gohan, your heart was starting to race with excitement. Right after, you felt a little silly. He wasn't even gone for a long time. Long enough for you to start shopping for a dress without him though and beginning to make such big decisions without him around. That wasn't what you wanted. You wanted to be able to reach him when deciding on big decisions. You two were planning on being a team for a long time. You didn't want him out of the loop.

"We're almost there!"

Your head kept looking towards Goten as he kept leading the way. You ran up a few flights of steps and started feeling winded. You started slowing down to the top and asked if there was an elevator you could have taken.

"Oh...the elevator...oops..."

"Goten!" You shouted while barely having any breath left. You really had to start exercising again. That was when Goten picked you up by your waist again and flew you the rest of the way. He led you to the outside area from earlier that day. Goten put you down as he got excited to see his dad and flew so quickly over to him. You stayed by the stairs while you caught your breath hunched over.

"(y/n)...I'm home." You head shot up at the voice. Gohan. All of a sudden, you had more air in your lungs. You slowly stood up straight and extended your arms to put them gently around his neck. He looked a little beat up too. He put his arms around your mid back.

"Gohan...welcome home..."

"I'm so happy to see you. Are you okay?" You chuckled.

"That's my question to you." You said leaning back a little to look up at him. It was so nice seeing him in one piece. You leaned towards closer to him to give him a kiss on the cheek. He turned slightly while you were close enough to give you a soft kiss on your lips. It was so nice to feel him this way. The kiss didn't last too long since everyone was around. He let go of your hug to hold onto your hand while he led you to everyone else. They were talking about what happened.

The food was laid out and Chichi and Bulma were sitting next to each other while holding their heads a little at the table where the food was. Vegeta and Goku were asking what was wrong with them and they refused to answer. It was cute. You giggled a little and Gohan asked you what was wrong with them. 

"They had a little bit too much champagne earlier." You whispered to him.

"Huh? How come they were day drinking?"

"...We went shopping...for my wedding dress."

"Oh wow!" He said in a loud whisper. "Did you find anything you liked?" He looked so interested and excited.

"No..But, I realized that I wanted to go with you."

"With me!? Isn't that bad luck or something?" He looked so cute with his hand next to his face doing his best to whisper so only you could hear. It warmed your heart.

"I don't want to believe in that silly superstition stuff. I want you to be there with me." He blushed a little. You thought that he didn't expect you to say something like that. He scratched the back of his head looking a little confused but still looking like he was okay with it.

"Alright. If you really want me too." He said with a sheepish smile.

"Of course I do. It was fun with your mom and Bulma and they can come too. I just want to make sure you come next time." You put your arms around his waist and hugged him while smiling. It was so nice to have him close. He hugged you back and kissed you on your forehead.

"Hey, you love birds! Joins us for dinner will ya! After saving all the universes we deserve to have great food!"

"Saved all of the universes?! What are you talking about Goku!!?" Chichi asked without skipping a beat.

"Uuuuuuuh!..." Goku quickly stuffed his mouth with a massive sized chicken leg.

You paused.

"I see your dad didn't tell you mom yet."

"No...he didn't..."

"...Will we ever be like that?" You couldn't help but ask. You couldn't help but have genuine doubt because people change. Things change and it wasn't always for the best.

"Of course not, (y/n)! I know there will be times where we can't share certain things with each other because of timing and stuff but when it comes to the important things, I don't want to keep that from you." Your eyes widened at his honesty. You believed him whole-heartedly. You went to hug him again but tighter. Gohan did the same.

"Ready to eat?" 

"Sure thing!" You said in a much cheerier voice. Gohan took a chair out for you to sit, waited patiently for you to sit, gently pushed you in and made sure you were comfortable. He sat next to you and started eating as much food as he could reach. You still appeared amazed at how much he could eat in one seating and how fast. You took your time since you're more of a slow eater.

"You still haven't answered me Goku!!"

"Chichiii." You and everyone else giggled. At that moment, you were just relieved that everyone, not just in this universe, but in all the universes, was safe.
