Of course, Hayabusa looks so mysterious and emo, but why not? He seems really skillful and maybe Hanabi can learn some fighting skills from him. He seems really cool to me. At least Hana-chan agreed to let him train with us. I know that she doesn't like strangers intruding into our practice sessions, so allowing Hayabusa to train with us is a real treat.
We started to practice right away, as there were a few hours before dusk. We had a few 1v1 matches against each other. I saw Hanabi's contempt towards Hayabusa turn into incredulity and, surprisingly, a teeny weeny bit of respect for him. Hayabusa was the only ninja who could spar with Hanabi WITHOUT LOSING!
As they did whatever ninja stuff they practiced, I focused on using my umbrella to deal magic damage. A few months ago, Hanabi had asked one of the most powerful mages from the cat elf village near us, Harith, to help create some training dummies that I could practice on. The semi-transparent cat elves that he conjured really helped me with my skills! I'm extremelygrateful to him.
I sneaked a look at Hayabusa and Hanabi. They seemed really focused on their practice, both of them weaving and diving, trying to attack the other person. They seemed to work together well...
I smiled mischievously. Shipping time...
