After that super-tiring fight, the girls sat with their backs against a cherry blossom tree and chatted while I sat a little distance away and admired the golden setting sun.

I watched them out of the corner of my eye. They were smiling and talking, and at one point they started laughing so hard that they landed into a heap of flailing arms and legs. I sighed.

How I wished that I could have a friend like that, how I wish that I could enjoy that kind of friendship...

"Hayabusa, come and join us!" Kagura called out. I jumped at her loud voice and Kagura, seeing my hesitation to join them, pouted. "You're no fun." She complained. Looking at her sadness, I sighed in defeat and joined them at the foot of the cherry blossom tree. Kagura immediately sat up and beamed at me.

All this while, Hanabi had been looking rather suspiciously at me. I didn't blame her as I'd doubt that she had seen another Shadow Ninja that could use a katana so well. "Your from the Shadow Sect of Ninjas, right?" Hanabi asked me.

Did she read my thoughts? "Yep, and you're from the Scarlet Sect, right? Although I've never seen a Scarlet Ninja wield a katana so well before." Hanabi looked scandalised. I realised that I had indirectly insulted her Sect. "I mean, you must be one of the better katana wielders there." I quickly added.

Her face brightened. "I may be one of the Scarlet Sect's best katana wielders!" She glanced around after saying that, as though she was afraid that someone else would hear that.

"Stop being modest, your obviously the Scarlet Sect's best ninja!" Kagura piped in from Hanabi's side. "Her grandfather is the gran-" Hanabi swiftly covered her mouth. "Mrmph!" Kagura complained. "Sorry." Hanabi said.

"Your grandfather is the grandmaster of the Scarlet Sect? Wow, you must be very good!" I looked at Hanabi, impressed. She stared at the ground. "I'm not that good." She muttered after a moment.

I could tell that she was embarrassed by the fact that her grandfather was Grandteacher. To not embarrass her further, I moved on to another topic. "Let's duel more, that way we can learn from each other." I looked at her kindly. "Sure." Hanabi replied with a smile.

As the sun was going down, we all left for our homes. "See you guys tomorrow!" I shouted and they waved as I made my way down the hill.
