Kagura's POV
After the dark being made me  follow the young ninja down a polished stone corridor, we came to a stop in front of a door, which was beautifully carved with ornate symbols I did not understand.

Yes.

I jumped inwardly, shocked to hear the voice of  the dark being residing inside me.

"Who are you?" I asked in my mind.

An evil crackle that caused the hairs on my arms to stand.

It matters not, the being hissed.

After all, you are just a puppet in this scheme.

"What scheme?"

Silence.

The lady ninja knocked on the door, bringing me back to the present.

"Enter!" Someone inside called out.

The dark being steered me to enter the room.

Inside, there was more carved wooden furniture. A tall man, wearing a simple black kimono, faced a high arched window, from which he was looking down at the training field where the Shadow ninjas were training.

Turning around, the Supreme Grandmaster of the Shadow Sect smiled at me.

"What a surprise, Kagura!" He exclaimed.

Forced to smile, I smiled up at him. "Just paying you a visit for some of my father's business, I'm afraid." The lie easily slid out.

Wait... what does this person inside me want to do to the Shadow Sect's Supreme Grandmaster?

It can't be anything good...

My fingers absentmindedly twirled the Seimei umbrella held in my right hand.

"Your father's business? Come, come, sit down." The Shadow Grandmaster ushered me towards a small seating area in his office.

"Would you like a cup of tea? No? Well, you see, your father has already contacted me about the situation I think you're here for. Claude must have stopped in Seimei village for to do some of his... usual form of work. Well, I have already thought of how to..."

However, the dark being inside me stopped paying attention to what the Grandmaster was saying.

My hand started to twirl the umbrella again, until it came to a stop, the yin side of the yin yang symbol facing up.

Wait, isn't that the position to perform- I realised with a jolt of horror.

"Hey! Stop that!" I cried out in my mind.

"Don't do this to the Supreme Grandmaster! What has wrong has he done?"

You know nothing, little girl. The dark being hissed with a —somehow, I could tell— evil smile.

Desperately, I tried resisting his control over me, but it was like repeatly hitting my fists against a thick wooden wall.

"DON'T DO THIS! PLEASE, JUST D—"

There are hundreds of monsters living in my umbrella.

A quick flick of my wrist opened my umbrella. Still desperately trying to regain control of myself, I felt the surge of power rising within me, but it was too late to stop it.
