Don and Meryl enjoyed a nice picnic together; after their emotional visit to William's grave, they enjoyed just being together-laughing and talking to one another. It was nice not to be talking about healing from the loss of their baby or about healing from Kevin Mann, but to just be Don and Meryl again. Before Don knew what was happening, Meryl was straddling his lap while they're tongues were wrestling with each other. Before long, Don's big hands were stimulating Meryl's breasts through her blouse and bra, while she wrapped her legs tightly around his waist, moving with purpose. Don finally pulled away, though it was the last thing he wanted to do when he felt that they were going too far and too fast. "Baby, let's slow down."
"You want to do this, don't you?" Meryl asked breathing heavily; her lips all kiss-swollen. "Try to get pregnant, I mean."
Don brushed his thumb over her delicious, and red, kiss-swollen lips. "Baby, of course, I do; I want a houseful of babies with you."
"Me too." Meryl winked at him as she tried to push him down on his back but he stopped her. "I thought we were going to start practicing."
Don laughed that she always wanted him just as much as he always wanted her; that sex was on her brain and heart as much as it was on his. "Oh baby, we are; but not here. I mean your parents or Henry could walk out here at any time."
"True." Meryl laughed as she couldn't keep her lips off his. "Though, I don't think Mom will; because I told her I wanted to talk to you about this. I hope you don't mind I talked to her about it before I talked to you; I was just kind of scared and nervous."
Don held Meryl's head in his hands so he could look deeply into her eyes. "Baby, you were afraid to talk to me about this? After everything we have gone through and experienced together? I don't want you to ever be afraid to talk to me about..."
"Baby, slow down; I'm not. I know I can talk to you about EVERYTHING and ANYTHING. The only person I truly feel like I can." Meryl assured her husband. "It's just after how I treated you the last time you..."
Don cut her off by pressing his lips to hers. "As I've said; you were grieving. And of course, I don't mind that you talked to your mother about this."
"Good." Meryl looked around; she wanted her husband, and she wanted him badly. It was such a relief for them to be able to grieve at their baby's grave together and to tell him that she was ready to try to have another baby with him. She was ready to release those emotions; she was ready to release them in one of her favorite ways. "The tree house? I keep pillows and blankets up there for a reason."
Don couldn't resist kissing her lips again; thinking how cute she was when she wanted to make love so badly. "No, not there. Since this will be our first time since deciding to try again that I want it to be special."
"It's always special with you." Meryl said smartly; then she had an idea. "Well, what do you say we go get our boy and get home to Millerton? Maybe he'll even fall asleep in the car."
Don grinned broadly at his wife; loving her idea as he smacked her ass making her stand up and pulling him to her. Don immediately wrapped his arms around her waist as she wrapped her arms around his neck so they remained as close as possible. "That is a fantastic idea."
"Mom offered to keep him here with them and we could have the night alone." Meryl told her husband. "I'm not ready to leave him overnight, yet. I mean I know we will eventually but after everything that boy has gone through..."
Don put his finger to her lips to stop her from what she was saying. "After everything all 3 of us have gone through I'm not ready either."
"Always on the same page." Meryl said kissing his lips before starting to fold the quilt her mother had brought out for them. "Let's get our boy so we can go practice."
