Chapter 19

"Soyeon, did you inform Taehyung about the proposal?", Jimin twirls in his chair, scrolling his phone as he snacks on some warm spicy rice cakes that Soyeon brought for him.

"The Photography talk for that school? I did, and he said he can do it. You might need to assist him. The school sent 20 names for the short talk. I think having you by his side might be a great help"

"Alright then, it's dated next week, right?", he mumbles  in between his chewing making Soyeon shakes her head, looking so done at her own boyfriend.

"Yes it is", eyes still lock on the her laptop screen, she scribbled some notes on her notepad before finally turning to look at Jimin.

"Speaking of Tae, does Hyeran know about Yura?"

"Not even a hint"

Sighing as she puts down her pen, Soyeon pinches the bridge of her nose,  feeling the stress thinking about Hyeran being back in Seoul after so long. Despite her being totally against her decision to leave Taehyung for the sake of her career, Hyeran is still her best friend.

But, Hyeran came back at the wrong time.

"Hyeran is going to go ballistic once she knows Tae is married. How is she going to take that?"

"Jimin, you know Hyeran. She is hot headed. She gets what she wants"

"Well, not this time. She can't break a marriage", Jimin rolled his eyes as he rolls his chair towards Soyeon.

"Does Tae even like this girl?"

"That my dear, you have to ask Tae himself"

Jungkook peeks behind the door as he does another round of headcount, making sure all the 18 registered names excluding him and Yura are present in the class. As the vice president of the student's council, he has been doing such an excellent job assisting Yura. They work the best when they're together.

He turned to look at the door, making sure the signage he pasted is intact and won't be falling off.

"Introduction to Photography"

"Yura, I am going to go downstairs to welcome the guest. Can you go to the staff room to inform Miss Jung that the guest has arrived?"

Nodding as she shows two thumbs up, she watches as Jungkook sprinted to the stairs and the next thing she knows, he is gone. Yura found Miss Jung right away once she arrived at the staff room, informed her about the guest. Miss Jung insisted that her work is done and now she can go back to the class, joining the others for the talk.

Aeri drums her fingers on her thighs as she patiently waits for Jungkook and Yura to return to their seats, which is on her left and right side since she is seated in the middle of the last row. Hearing the sound of the door sliding open, she lifts her head and her face lights up when Yura came in with Jungkook tailing right behind her.

"The guest is here?", she asked impatiently

"I think yes. They are on the way, right? Jungkook?", turning to look at Jungkook, Yura realized he has been silent since he came back from welcoming the guests.

"Jungkookookoo? Hello?", Aeri knocks on the table, trying to get his attention

"Yes, definitely. You'll love them", an undistinguished smirk appeared on his small face, sending mixed signals to both Yura and Aeri. He ignored the confused girls as he stretches his hand into his backpack, taking out his pen and notebook, prepping himself for the talk.
