Chapter Twenty Six

Camila's POV

I feel the need to just it by the beach side with someone and talk about my problems and just stay there forever. I don't know what to do or how i felt about what happened earlier. Its 12AM I'm tired, but i can't sleep. Should i just try to go out for a walk? But i don't want to die....you feel? "fuck it I'm going out." i changed into jeans and brought out my favorite my favorite hoodie. I put it on and fixed my hair and put on my converse.

I headed out and went onto the sidewalk. I didn't want to look up, i didn't want to do anything but walk and forget about everything. I then came across the diner i remember that me and the others went to and Lauren showed up and she ended up doing more than dropping me home.

I smiled to myself and headed there. I then spotted a familiar car. One that only belonged to Lauren. "no..it could be someone elses' car. I say to myself as i entered the diner, looking around. No sign of Lauren, i might be right. I took a seat in the back and suddenly a woman came to take my order.

I simply just ordered a cup of tea and a grilled cheese sand which. I then got on my phone. In the corner of my eye i spot Lauren coming out of the restroom. I gasped lightly and used my phone to hide my face. I don't know if it worked or not. Because i felt a pair of eyes on me.

"Here is your order ma'am" the waitress said handing down my tea and my food. "thank you" i say thankfully. I then took a sip of my hot tea and sighed slowly. I then spotted the girl and lauren laughing together, constantly giving each other love and affection, something i was in need of right now.

After finishing my food i spot them leave. I decided to wait a few minutes until they're finally gone and then leave. I then paid for my food after 5 minutes or so. As soon as i exited the diner i spotted lauren leaning on her car, checking her phone. I grew confused, wasn't she just with someone? I covered myself up with my hoodie and quickly speed walked. 

"hey, camila!" i hear her husky voice call out to me. I want to turn around and just hug her forever, but the other half of me is telling me to just keep walking away and ignore her. I continued to walk away until i heard running. Suddenly, she was right there in front of me. Panting, trying to catch her breath.

I didn't feel like looking up. I didn't want to look into her eyes. "hey...camila...where you going?" she asks, while we were about a few inches apart from each other. "just...back to the dorms." i say quietly. "well, why're you alone?" she asks like she really cares where i bet she doesn't.

"why do you care, werent you with someone else?" i snapped. "well i-im just asking..." she says nervously, as if shes never met me never before. I bit my lower lip. "Well you didnt have to...why are you even waiting outside anyways?" "i was just waiting for you." she says innocently. 

"why" i ask her. "because your alone....and i can't let you walk alone right now, its already 1AM." i sighed and took my hoodie off, running a hand through my hair. "why do you care if i walk alone or not." i raised an eyebrow at her. "well i promised Dinah i'd take care of you..and i care about you too." I laughed lightly, and slightly shook my head. "you care about me? Look,  i know I'm the one who messed up, but why break up with me when your telling me now, that you care about me. And you have what looks like a girlfriend."

Lauren stayed silent, looking down. "speechless, huh? OH now i see. I don't think you do care, you know what I'm just gonna go now." I say beginning to walk past her. She then suddenly pulled me back by the arm and crashed her lips into mine. She began placing her arms around my waist, holding me tightly. Me, being shocked by her quick action, kissed back instantly. Craving for the taste that her lips allows.
