Cuphead POV

I closed the door behind them as my two girls began arguing with each other.

"We can't stay here its to small." Gracie said, eyeing my apartment.

"We can stay with momma." Julianah suggested.

"Julianah momma doesn't want us. She never will." Gracie said looking down at her.

"That's not true."

"It is true." Julianah went silent then looked up at me asking if that was true. I sighed, pulling the two into a hug.

"Well, what is true is I want you to stay with me." I said smiling. They both smiled as well, resting their heads on me. I directed them to my room that I fixed up for them. They eyed it weird looking around the small room.

"Dad, Julianah pees the bed and I ain't sleeping with her." Gracie said, crossing her arms. Julianah glared at her with an embarrassed look across her face.

"I do not! Don't be putting me on the spot like that! Whats wrong with you?" She said all sassy looking away. I chuckled, leaning against the door frame. Gracie suggested getting bunk beds or separate beds for them. I thought about it. I could make it happen if I saved enough, so I told them I'd work on it.

"Well, how about feeding us, and getting us some food, cause we are hungry?" Julianah said, looking up at me. I got a bit annoyed since she sounded like her momma. I told her that to and telling them to put their clothes in the dresser drawers. They obliged as I made my way out of the room. Later that night when they went to bed I sat at the end of the bed looking at my sleeping girls. They looked peaceful and safe. Lord, how am I going to do this. First things first, get a new job. There's no way my current occupation could support all of us. I closed the door, going to the couch to get some sleep myself.

Just as I planned, I got a new job. I didn't like it considering I was working with fancy like people. They gave me the position of a driver for a high top lawyer. It was sunny as I leaned against the car, looking at the fancy building in front of me.

"I can't believe I'm doing this." I thought aloud, chewing on the gum I put in my mouth. The man standing by the door looked over at me.

"You here for Mr. Demon?" He asked, a small smile on his face. I tilted my head, opening the paper, looking at the name they gave me.

"Uh yeah, Demon, Bendy T. Demon." I said, looking back up. He had a small laugh escape as he said good luck. I wondered what he meant till he opened the door, letting a small man walk out. He was wearing a tight suit that fit his figure well. His eyes, a dark red. His fur smoothed out. He looked up at me as his small demon tail moved around behind him. I stared, taking in his features. He snapped me out of my daze, asking if I was going to open the car door in a serious tone. I quickly nodded, opening the door, watching as he got in. I stood there looking at him, wondering if he was going to do anything since he just sat there.

"Can you close the door?" He asked, annoyed. I nodded in the closing the door. I went to the driver's seat, telling that guy to shut up as he began laughing at my oblivious knowledge to this job.

I was driving him to a courthouse as he was talking on the phone.

"Felix, no I am not going. Tell him to cancel. Look, I don't want to go on anymore blind dates. Because they end in disaster." Bendy was arguing into his phone at whoever was on the end. I guess he was being set up on a date and he didn't like the idea. I don't blame him. Dating is a tough field. I mean, I should know from personal experience.

"Did they tell you my schedule?" Bendy asked. His tone changed, so I looked up at him.

"Oh, you're talking to me?" I asked, looking in the rearview mirror. His eyes darted around.

"You're the only one in the car." he said, annoyed. Oh, man, he's going to be a challenge to handle.

"I thought you were still on the phone."

"Well, all I need you to do is take me to my destinations on time and we should move along smoothly." He explained. I nodded, focusing on the road. I hummed a tune, feeling uneasy with the silence.

"Excuse me." Bendy said annoyed, crossing his arms. I sighed, apologizing. I turned on the radio, playing some music. He looked out the back window, a bit freaked out.

"Is someone punking me?" He asked, looking around. I had to hold in a laugh as I turned off the radio.

"No sir, you're fine."

"Well, I like silence." He said annoyed. I felt like I was getting annoyed myself. I mean, I know he is really high on the branch, but doesn't mean he can be such a little shit. Sorry for not being on his level of grace. He interrupted my thoughts.

"You missed the turn! I asked you to take the freeway!" He exclaimed. I rolled my eyes as I continued driving.

"Yes, and you seem in a hurry, and this way is faster." I said.

"Excuse me? I am in a rush and I know this city! Why are we stopping!?" He asked as I parked the car. I leaned back, amused as I answered him.

"Because we're here?" He looked out the window, seeing the courthouse in view. He looked back at me with a glare.

"Next time, follow my orders." He said pissed off. I held in another laugh as I nodded. Boy, he might've annoyed me too, but he's cute.
