Meeting Again

A/N: What I imagine happening after Wanda and Vision are rescued from the Snap. 

Wanda could hear a soft beeping noise. She slowly opened her eyes to see Clint Barton sleeping in a chair next to her hospital bed. Right then, Dr. Cho walked in to check Wanda's vitals. 

"Ah, Miss Maximoff, you're awake." Clint had heard this and quickly opened his eyes. 

"Wanda, thank God! You're alive." Clint gave Wanda a soft squeeze. 

"Hey, Clint. Where am I? The last thing I can remember is being in Wakanda, sitting next to Vision's dead body after Thanos killed him." Wanda's eyes started to water but Clint grabbed her hand and gave it a fatherly squeeze. 

"You're in the Avenger's compound in New York, in the hospital wing. We defeated Thanos, I'll get into that later, and we spent years trying to find those who disappeared after Thanos won. We found you, Bucky, T'Challa, and some others. We've kept Vision's body in which Bruce and Tony are trying to get up and running again. I'm glad you're alive and okay." Clint smiled. "I'll let the team know that you are awake while Dr. Cho continues your checkup." 

A few minutes later, Dr. Cho finished checking Wanda's vitals. "Well, Wanda, everything looks great. You are going to have to stay a few more days so we can keep an eye on you but you are one strong woman." 

Wanda was left to rest for a while before Clint brought in the team to say hello. Natasha was the first one to enter the room when the team can by. 

"It's good to have you back Wanda." Natasha had always been a motherly figure to Wanda and Clint a fatherly figure. Natasha's hair and grown out to her natural red color with blonde tips. Her face looked like she had been through so much stress that she had a worried look on her face permanently, even when she was smiling at Wanda. 

A few days later, Wanda was released from the hospital wing. As she was still recovering, Wanda spent most of her days reading and trying to figure out what happened. She was able to meet the new member of the Avengers, Carol Danvers. They had become friends and talked about their lives. 

One day, Wanda decided to wander around the compound. She found herself standing in front of Bruce's and Tony's lab where Vision's body was laying on a table with wires attached to him. Tony was hard at work, trying to get his favorite AI to work again. 

Every day for a month, Wanda stood outside of the lab watching for any changes. However, she had gotten sick and couldn't find the energy to get out of bed. As she was sipping on some tea and reading of Vision's many books, Natasha enters her bedroom. 

"Hey, we have some news on Vision. You need to come with me to the lab." Natasha and Wanda walked to the lab where Tony was waiting outside of the door with a smile on his face. 

"Wanda, we have a surprise for you." He led Wanda into the lab where she saw Vision sitting upright. 

"Hello, love." Vision said as Wanda walked over to the AI. "Thank goodness you are alright." Vision pulled Wanda in for an embrace. When they pulled away, Wanda gave the AI a sweet kiss on the lips. 

"You're here. How?" Wanda leaned her forehead on to Vision's.

"The miracles of Tony and Bruce. Honestly, I don't know how but I am here." They stood like this, talking for a while until Tony, regrettably, kicked Wanda out, promising that she can come back in the morning. 

"I love you, Wanda." Vision said kissing Wanda's lips. 

"I love you too. I'll see you in the morning." Wanda walked back to her room, slowly. She was the happiest she had been in months. 

For the next few months, as Tony and Bruce kept working on Vision, the couple spent every moment that they could together. Everything was almost back to normal and Wanda was happy about it.
