The lights dimmed off of the audience and for a second there we were standing in the dark. There was a shadowy blue light that barley lit the stage. Above the crowds anticipation, we were close enough to hear the production crew setting up. It wasn’t like they were trying to be sneaky and surprise us when all the other lights illuminate the stage, they sounded like they were throwing things around...to be quiet frank.

Maybe thats the point.

we looked around and right next to us were a few girls who were crossing their arms, almost upset. who in the world could be upset when one direction is in this very building? i looked at emma and leaned in to tell her of what i saw "do you see those girls-" she nodded "they seem so mad ... why would they be mad at a 1D concert? hell we aren’t even mad when we watch their videos!" i chuckled kind of confused about this clique next to us. One of the four looked at us. She was kind of short even with those tall glittery stilettos she wore. she kept staring as if she meant to intrude into our souls and stomp on them, every little bit of them. Batting her false eyelashes, that were almost visible through her black eyeshadow.

Emma leaned in " i think she was the one we took the spot from" what? What did Emma mean? what spot? i gave a weird look as i said in my head a pretty obvious WHAT? Emma bluntly stated "the only clear spot in the hallway...? They were in the way, but thats because they were walking slow." I looked back at them. Then went straight back to emma "really I didn’t even notice that they were going to that spot"

Emma now stayed quiet with no intent to reply.

The stiletto girl was standing behind me facing right up to me. i looked at her. Seeing her false eyelashes weren’t all that false anymore. She looked up at me with her intimidating green eyes as she smiled a pearly white smile. " did you get Liam’s number?"

Liam’s number? "no did you?" she seemed almost distraught with my answer "really? did you get Harry's?" almost like she didn’t believe it "because they were the only ones who gave me and all my friends their number...they do that with all their fans" i felt Emma sort of fall back down to her chair. Down with her mind running Incessantly. 'stilettos' shook her head in disbelief. "Well my names Kylie" with that prep smirk all the girls do these days. I smiled and kind of went on to focus my attention among other things.

Other things like, what i was going to do tomorrow or if there was any homework due on Monday. Even what shirt i should buy with my saved up money i got in a little chai tea tin can on the corner of my dresser. but to be clear ... I couldn’t focus on all those things, only that one thing stuck out. Stuck out almost like a post-it note that isn’t sticking to the wall but lying in the middle of every thought that i ever had. Why did Liam give them his number? That moment we shared did it result in nothing? Maybe thats the kind of girl Liam James Payne likes ... those girls that are liked by everybody. the ones where they looked like they could get anyone wrapped around that studded ringed finger of theirs. The type of girls that get anything they want with a click of their tongue. The type of girls that are always voted prom queen or most likely to become famous category.

I stopped thinking of my self, i sat down by Emma and looked at her sitting casually in her white dress. Why would Harry give those girls his number? Do you think that the thought lingered in her head as well as it did mine? Kylie took the hope that Harry and Liam were different. As if they liked girls that weren’t like her and the fake group of friends she had. "Hey. Kylie is most likely lying about Harry. its mostly Liam that is rumored to give out his number." she looked at me with a glimmer to her eyes, almost as if it didn’t really effect her "What makes you think Liam would give anything to those girls?" she kind of a snide smile when she said it. I guess she knew somehow. I stared directly at her "Sometimes people are blinded by how beautiful a mask looks, that they don’t even bother to look at whats underneath." She kind of shrugged it off like it was true but gave a little menacing look and mumbled "Harry probably goes for girls like that"
