🌀3rd Person POV🌀

Aaron is trying to run away from the monster but it always seems to find her again. As she runs along the country side a huge pine tree catches her attention and the distant glow of a campfire. She runs towards it.

With every step she takes, the monster gets closer.

This is one of Percy Jackson's greatest campfires this summer, even thought it's only the fourth week, still.

While singing along with everyone, Percy hears a distant, but still kind of close, roar of a monster. Percy looks around and sees that nobody else notices it.

Something's not right, Percy thinks to himself, jogs away from the crowd and campfire and over to where he hears the roar of the monster.

"Almost there," Aaron said to herself, "almost th-" the hideous monster leaps in front of her with lightning speed, making Aaron fall off her feet.

Aaron try's to back away from the monster, but she backs into a tree. The monster, which looks very similar to a bull, makes an ear splitting roar that makes Aaron cover her ears. Aaron looks around for a stick or something to defend herself with. But of course for her luck she can't find anything.

She stands up slowly with her hands held out in front of her as if trying not to startle the monster. But the monster already did that to Aaron, so Aaron charges at the monster with a burst of adrenaline. The monster raises it's heavy arm to strike down, but Aaron dodges it with a swift motion. And then she notices the creature's sharp horns.

If I can get up there and maybe break off one of those horns, I might be able to at least wound it to get away, Aaron thought. Aaron goes with her plan and with a lot of dogging and jumping, she manages to get onto the bull-like creature's back. The beast started to buck and slam into trees, Aaron was holding on for dear life. She reaches for the horn, it is right there but she just can't reach it.

Come on, almost-

In mid-thought the monster whips Aaron off its back. She flies though the air and hit a tree. Aaron crumpled to the ground. Large waves of dizziness and nausea hit her like a bus as she tries to stand.

The distant sound of the monsters final roar was quiet compared to moments ago. With blurry vision, she can just make out a dark figure over a strange mound of some sort.

Thinking it is another monster she tries to get away, "D-don't h-hurt me.. Please..." Aaron's voice is small and weak.
The world tilts more and her vision comes in and out of focus. A dark figure comes out of the shadows and is coming toward her. Aaron doesn't realize that she is lying on the ground, until the figure kneels down next to her and picks her up.

"Medic!" Aaron hears a voice say, "Medic!" Black dots dance across her vision as she is teeter-tottering on the edge of conciseness.

But, it's no use, exhaustion takes her into a dreamless sleep ingulfed by darkness...
