💦Percy's POV💦

I pick up speed as I keep running towards the direction of the roaring monster. Just as I cross the border of the camp, I see a girl fighting off a monster, or a Minator I should say, by dogging and jumping around.

I could tell that she was winning, the girl got the better of the monster and jumped onto its back. But she was starting to be tossed around, trying to reach its horn.

She's going to fall off. I run out of the brush to aid her before she gets hurt, but before I am even close, the Minator flings the girl off its shoulders, she slams into a near by tree. I try to run to the girl the the monster blocks me and starts to charge at me. I uncap my pen and slash at it until it is a pile of golden dust.

I look at the girl and see that she is trying to stand, but as she looks at me she tries to back away and is mumbling something I can't make out. I run over to her as she falls to the ground.

"Can you hear me?" I ask her but she doesn't answer only groans. I pick her up in my arms and look at her, she looks so pale, I think to myself. And familiar, but why though?. I forget my last thought and start to sprint to the border of the camp and to the Big House.

"Medic!" I yell, "Medic!" I look down at the girl in my arms and see that her eyes are closed.

As I get closer to the Big House, I see someone running towards me and I can't tell who it is.

"Percy?" I could tell by the voice that it's Annabeth, "Percy! Wh-what happened?" Annabeth is only a few feet away from me now, "Who-who is that?" Her face is full of worry as she looks at the girl in my arms.

"I-I don't know she was t-trying to kill a-a monster just out side of the camp, and- and she got slammed against a t-tree, we-we need to get her to the Big House," I stutter. Annabeth only nods. We run into the Big House and see Chiron at his desk. He looks away from his work and looks at us and frowns.

"What happened?" he strides over to me and Annabeth and kneels in front of us. I tell him what happened. When I'm finished he stands up and takes the girl from my arms. He turns around and starts to walk away from us, but he stops and asks, "Do you know her name or anything about her?" he gives me a sideways glance.

"No. I-I don't," I stutter. He nods his head once then leaves the room without another word.

I honestly don't know why I'm so worried about a girl that I don't even know. Annabeth's hand on my shoulder brings me away from my thoughts.

"Are you okay? You seem... distant almost, and distracted," she looks me in the eyes with a worried expression.

"What? yea.. yea I-I'm fine," I lie. I never like lying to Annabeth even for the small things.

"Don't lie to me," she calls me out, "please tell me."

I sigh, "I -I'm just worried about the girl, an-and I know it sounds weird I don't even know anything about her. Not even her name! But I feel like she's.. I-I don't know, I .." Annabeth puts her hand on my face.

"You don't need to explain yourself, I understand," she gives me a small smile and I return it. I put my arm around her waist to give her a hug. "How about, tomorrow morning we come to see if she is doing okay?" Annabeth looks up at me with a smile and I nod.

As we walk out I look back inside of the house to see if Chiron has come out of the room. I frown, he hasn't. I sigh and continue to walk with Annabeth back to the campfire.
