⚡️Jason's POV⚡️

I just got back to Camp Half-Blood when I hear the conch for dinner. I'm so excited to see Piper, my girlfriend, and the rest of the seven. I have exciting news for them.

As I walk into the Mess Hall, I am ingulfed into a hug by Piper.

"Oh my gods, I missed you so much," I smile hugging her tighter.

"I missed you too, Pipes," she lifts her head up from my shoulder and looks me in the eye.

"Don't ever leave for that long again," she says, and then punches me in the arm.

"Ow." I rub my now sore arm, but still smile at her, "Love you," I give her a cheeky grin.

"Love you too, Sparky," she gives me a peck on my cheek. She holds my hand and walk to the Zeus table, which is empty, and sit down.

Piper looks at me, "Do you want me to get you your dinner," I'm about to answer 'no' but she is already walking towards the food line.

As I look around the room, looking for Percy, my eyes land on a girl I have never seen before. She must be new.

The girl has long dirty blonde hair that reaches the middle of her back, stunning green-blue eyes (which reminds me of Percy's), tan skin, and has no shoes, which, to me is very strange.

She is talking to Percy. I get up from my seat and walk over to them.

"Just the man I wanted to see!" I greeted Percy with a smile on my face.

"Oh, hey! You're back!" Percy says while giving me a brotherly hug. I return it.

When we depart from our hug, I turn and face the new girl, "So who's this?" I ask, giving the girl a warm smile.

"This is Aaron. She got here last night," she smiles at me, "Aaron, this is Jason Grace," Percy starts to sniker and puts a hand next to his mouth, "And he's not very graceful though," he whisper yells, loud enough for me to hear.

I wack him on the arm, "Oh shut up," I laugh.

"It's nice to meet you, Aaron," I'm extending my hand to shake Aaron's, but she keeps her hands in her pockets looking down. I stare confusedly at her. Percy puts a hand on my extended arm pulling it back. He shakes his head, mouthing I'll tell you later. I only nod and smile at Aaron.

"I'll see you guys later at the Capture the Flag," I wave goodbye to them both and walk back to my table. Piper is sitting there with an annoyed look and her face.

When I sat down she starts bombarding me with questions, "Who is that? What's her name? What so you think she is talking about with Percy? Why isn't she wearing shoes? Why didn't she shake your hand? Do you think she has a thing with germs? Why-" I cut her off.

"PIPER!" I yell making a few campers stare,"Shut up." I say more quietly. She rolls her eyes. "And to answer your questions, her name is Aaron, that's no one's business only theirs, I don't know, I don't know, and I DON'T KNOW."

"You don't need to be snappy," Piper says smiling.

"But when she didn't shake my hand, I don't think it's about germs or anything like that."

"Then why do you think she didn't shake your hand," Piper says seriously.

"I DON'T KNOW!" I say a little louder than I intended, making some campers stop talking for a second. I sigh, "Look, I don't know, but something is different about this girl than any other new camper I-I don't know how to explain it but something is off." I look back to where Percy and Aaron are talking staring at the girl for a second then turning back to Piper.

My girlfriend gives me a sincere smile, "I get it. So how about you eat your dinner so that we have energy for the game tonight?" I smile at her.

"Sounds good."
