Chapter 3

AppleJack's PoV
I didn't know what to do. I didn't love Rarity, but for some reason, it felt so right when she kissed me...What am I saying? I finally gathered myself together and went back down to planet earth.
Me: "W-What was that?"
Rarity: "Just my way of saying hello darling." That was no 'hello' kiss, that was a tongue on tongue kiss.
Me: "So you do this to everyone?"
Rarity: "Just my very best friend of course!" She smiled at me, but I knew she just wanted me real bad. I could tell. I smiled back and walked away. I almost stopped dead when I saw Rainbow Dash hiding under the stairs with her cheeks red, but I didn't. I honestly didn't understand her. She was probably just talking to Sunset Shimmer.

Sunset's PoV
I found Flash leaning against a wall. There was no sign of Twilight.
Flash: "So? What did she say? Will she come?"
Me: "Of course, and I'll be there too, but I won't get in the way of anything." I winked at him, and then he signalled that someone was behind me. It was AppleJack. I saw Twilight coming the other way, and I told Flash that this was how he could make his first move. I took AppleJack back to the empty classroom as she seemed like she needed to talk. I still had a view of Flash and Twilight.
AppleJack: "Don't tell anyone." I gave her a weird look. What could really be that important? "Can I trust you Sunset?"
Me: "Of course, tell me anything." She sat on the table.
AppleJack: "I'm worried about Rainbow Dash." Maybe this was something to do with what had happened earlier, when we both saw AppleJack and Rarity...
Me: "Why? Is she ok?"
AppleJack: "She is my best friend so if you tell her I told you this then—"
Me: "I won't! Just get to the point AJ!" She looked more relaxed now and took in a deep breath.
AJ: "Since you broke up with Flash...she....well... she has a crush on you." She knocked down her hat so it was covering her face. Rainbow Dash liked me? Why? That did explain the blushing, and over reacting to Flash's text...
Me: "I thought she was crazy for you." I said by accident.
AJ: "She what!" AppleJack lifted her hat back up, revealing her bright pink cheeks.
Me: "She looked almost close to tears when....when she saw you and Rarity..."
AppleJack: "Ugh this is all my fault... Rarity is way too much sometimes..." Now she looked close to tears. I put my hand on one of her shaking hands.
Me: "I really haven't made it better. You don't have to say anymore. We can fix this together." She smiled and we walked out the classroom together. Twilight looked like she was doing just fine...both her's and Flash's faces were red. I couldn't help but feel jealous, but when AJ saw me staring she grabbed my hand and squeezed it.
AJ: "You comforted me, so now its my turn." She said grinning. So I smiled back and left Flash and Twilight to
...well...flirt I guess...

After school we all met up. Me, Rarity, AJ, Rainbow, Fluttershy, Pinkie, and Twilight. It's been ages since we had a proper chance to catch up. We found a little park where no one went anymore.
Twilight: "So...why are we here again?"
Pinkie: "To catch up silly!"
Fluttershy: "So what has everyone been up to?" AppleJack looked at me, and I looked at Rainbow. We surely weren't going to tell them the honest truth.
Sunset: "Just, y'know...school work."
Rainbow: "Hey Sunset, wouldn't everyone like to know the story behind that lovely text you got this morning."
Twilight nodded.
Rainbow: "What a minute! Speak of the devil." She said and nodded at a blue haired boy making his way towards us. I saw Rainbow and Twilight look at each other in the corner of my eye.
Flash: "Hey ladies. What are you doing here?"
I stood up and crossed my arms.
Me: "Sorry Flash, this is a girl only zone. Unless you want to classified as one of us girls, I should be asking the same question."
He crossed his arms to imitate me.
Flash: "Oh yeah? Well I thought you told me that I should try to find 'opportunities'." He was talking about when I told him to talk to Twilight more, but now he was using my words against me... He smiled at me, to make sure we weren't having an argument.
Me: "Yeah well now is definitely not the time." I reached out to push him away, but he grabbed my hand before I could.
Flash: "Ok, fine. But next time maybe think before you specifically tell me to do something." He walked away laughing and I giggled too. I turned around and all my friends gave me the same look...more or less. Rainbow and Twilight had the exact same expression... 😐 And the rest of them were raising their eyebrows.
AppleJack: "Well...you wanna explain what that was all about?"
Me: "Just...you know, considering we've broken up, we have more....arguments...." I gave them a nervous grin.
Pinkie: "How come you were smiling then? Didn't look like an argument to me."
