Chapter 8

Sunset's PoV
Back at school I tried to take it easy. Rainbow Dash was back, and things were just about back to normal, until lunch time...
I was sitting with Rainbow and AppleJack. Well, I was watching them flirt with each other... Anyway, about 2 minutes after I sat down, Flash came storming towards me, his eyes red, and sat next to me. He didn't say anything.
AppleJack: "Hey what's up sugar cube?"
He still sat there staring into space. AppleJack looked at me and then Rainbow Dash. Both of us had no idea what to do.
Me: "Uh...Flash? Is there something you want to tell us? We're all ears."
Flash: "Not in front of everyone."
Me: "So...um...do you want to talk to me then? By myself?" He nodded and we went outside together. I tried to make eye contact with AJ to tell her I would tell her everything, but I don't think she really understood eye gestures. Not surprised.
We got outside but Flash didn't look up from the floor.
Me: "You can tell me what happened, I won't say anything if you don't want me to."
Flash: "No it's fine... Twilight broke up with me...." Wasn't really expecting that, but I'm pretty sure other than Twilight, I was the only other person to make him that upset, and I was pretty bad...
I know it sounded horrible, but in a way... I guess this meant that I still had a chance with Flash. I know how I acted but I have changed now...and I hoped that's what he thought too. He had just broken up with Twi after all, so I decided not to mention anything until he had...sort of...recovered?
Sunset: "Do you want to talk about it?"
Flash: "There's nothing much to say. She told me that I wasn't taking it seriously, that's all." He was tears running down his face. I put my arm around his shoulder to comfort him which made myself blush. Then he did something that I would have never expected. He took his other arm and gave me a full on hug.
Flash: "Thank you for being there for me Sunset. You're pretty much my best friend, and I guess nothing would have happened if it wasn't for you. The good things or the bad things!"  He laughed, I wanted to laugh too but I felt too weak. He let go and looked and me in a different sort of way.
Flash: "Hey...your blushing! Was the hug too tight?" I still didn't say anything. "Look I know I sound really desperate, but it is too late to completely start over with you? Not as friends....but maybe....as more?"
Me: "I wouldn't have it any other way!"
He picked me up and hugged me tight. I felt bad for Twi...but I know how forgiving she is. She would stay my second BFF for life...

A/N Got bored of the story so I'm ending it there. 😐 School work is getting wayyyy too much and I can't leave this story hanging. I'm off school today so that's why I had time to do this, but I won't be making anymore stories in more than a month... 😬😄👌✌️😏💕🍎🍎🌈⚡️💎💎🌸🦋✨🎉🎈☀️💥💕
