Chapter 4

Rainbow's PoV
I got home as quick as I could from the park. I knew it was wrong but I just wasn't ready to see Sunset with Flash again. I am pretty sure Twilight had a tiny crush on him anyway...or maybe she had a crush on Sunset! Why was it so difficult!!! Maybe I should just give up. Sunset and Flash are clearly going to end up together, and so would Rarity and AJ. I was left with no one.

Sunset's PoV
I made sure everyone had left the park until it was just me and AppleJack. She wanted an answer, so I gave her one.
Me: "I know what it looks like..."
AppleJack: "It looks like you want Flash back."
Me: "No that's not true! I'm trying to help him!"
AppleJack: "With what? Finding his true love?" She laughed.
Me: "Well....yeah!" It was true. "He loves Twilight, and I'm...well... helping him so he could eventually ask her out. Don't tell anyone I told you that."
AppleJack: "Just as long as you don't tell Rainbow Dash." I shook my head. "One question though..."
Me: "Yeah...."
AppleJack: "Is that what you want...Do you want Flash and Twilight to be together?" She raised her eyebrow at me. I guess I never thought about that before.
Me: "Yes...of course...I mean, they're made for each other..."
AppleJack: "So what was that jealous look you gave them earlier?"
Me: "Fine!" I put my back against the wall and slid down. I rested my head in my hands. AJ came to sit next to me.
AppleJack: "So..you still have a thing for Flash then?"
Me: "I...I don't know..." I took AppleJack's hat off her head and covered my face with it. She just laughed.
Me: "See you on Monday AJ!" I took of the hat and handed it back to her. "Thanks for making me feel better."
Tomorrow wasn't going to go any more smooth though. I was meeting up with Flash and Twilight...

Next Morning:
Flash's PoV
This was going to go great. I had my new best friend there to comfort me, and I was going to be spending time with Twilight. Even if things didn't turn out, I still had Sunset.....What am I saying? I got to town and found Sunset waiting for us on her phone. Twilight hadn't arrived yet.
Me: "Sunset, hi." She looked up and smiled.
Sunset: "You ready?"
Me: "Definitely. Thanks for doing this for me."
Sunset: "Trust me, you won't even know I'm here." Sunset was so much nicer than she used to be, and she was pretty bad. I guess I only dated her because I was flattered that someone had actually asked me out. Although I grew to love her...I couldn't hang out with a bully. But she's changed now. When Twilight arrived we started walking around, and then we found a place to eat. You could say it was awkward...well actually it was very awkward.
Twilight: "Hey we should do this more often. Whose idea was it?"
Sunset: "Flash's"
Me: "Sunset's" It was Sunset's idea, but I knew what she was trying to do.
Twilight: "Well thanks guys," she giggled. "So far its been the best time." I smiled at her and she blushed. That's what I like to hear.
Sunset: "Uh..I gotta go to the bathroom. Be right back." Sunset winked at me.
Me: "Uh...so, I've been thinking... Maybe considering we're close friends...we are friends right?"
Twilight: "Obviously!"
Me: "Well considering we're close...do you wanna...maybe... be more that just...close friends?" I did it, I actually did it.
Twilight: "Does that mean your asking me out?" She blushed even harder. I nodded.
Twilight: "Then yes, I guess that's a yes." She wrapped one arm around my back, as it was an awkward position to properly hug in. Yes...this felt right.

Sunset's PoV
Well that lasted long. I walked out of the restaurant after I knew Flash had asked Twilight out. I wasn't jealous, it just took some getting used to...seeing your ex-boyfriend thatclose to one of your best friends. I texted Flash saying I threw up in the bathroom, and he replied 'Was all the love too much for you 😂😂😏'. I guess he was right. And this was what I wanted wasn't it? It was what I planned for Flash and helped in through. Maybe it was being a good person that was too much for me. I wasn't going to tell anyone else about Twilight and Flash, until they gave me permission to. I just had to wait for Monday to come.

—Monday—
I walked to school like any other day, but today I just felt nervous. This was going to be awkward for me, and I had to pretend I had no idea about "FlashLight" as I had called it. (A/N Sorry 😂😂😂)
I saw Flash and Twilight at Flash's locker together. When the bell rang they hugged each other and went separate ways, as we all had separate classes. I used the opportunity to talk to him.
Me: "Well well well.... how is it going?" I smirked.
Flash: "I couldn't thank you enough, honestly. We wouldn't be dating if it weren't for you."
Me: "I know...you would never had pulled it off without my help would you?" I laughed and he gave me a friendly punch. A punch that was a bit too hard and caused me to topple over. I cut my arm the side of the locker and Flash apologised to me. He went red with embarrassment. There was blood running down my arm, but all I was concerned about was Rainbow Dash running towards me, with a startled looking AppleJack behind her.
Rainbow: "Sunset! Are you ok." She said helping me up. She turned to the startled blue haired boy in front of me. "How dare you hurt Sunset like that." And she punched Flash twice. One in his right eye, and the other in his head. He fell to the floor unconscious.
"RAINBOW DASH!" me and AJ both screamed at her. Two teachers came rushing down the corridor. One of them took Flash and the other took me, Rainbow Dash and AppleJack.

We sat in Principle Celestia's office in she glared at us.
Celestia: "Girls I expected better..." She nodded at AppleJack, probably because she has the best grades, and me and Rainbow had been in trouble before. "The easiest way to do this is to get each of you to write down what happened on separate pieces of paper, and we'll go from there. And so we began writing. I didn't miss a thing, starting from when I made a joke to Flash. Oh my god I hadn't even thought about him. He was unconscious and it was partly my fault. I needed to see him, and so did Twilight...but maybe I'd go check on him first, then break it to Twi.
