''(y/n)'' you are pulled from you sleep by your mothers voice, ''it is time to wake up, today is your first day of school!'' your mother sounds excited, you are greeted by her smiling face.

Your mother holds up your new school uniform, it looks boring and bland in your eyes. It consists of a gray skirt, white shirt, light brown jacket and a pair of white socks. Your mother must have seen that you were displeased, she smiles and helps you get dressed ''You looks so cute in it (y/n), you have nothing to worry about''. She lastly ties a short, red, tie around your collar, it feels uncomfortable and restricting. ''Do I haf to wea' dis?'' you ask as you pout, your mother simply smiles and reaches her hand out for you.

You and your mother walks down the stairs, your small hand is holding on to your mothers. You are greeted by the scent of toast, eggs, and coffee. Even though your mother doesn't eat herself, she is rather good at making you breakfast. You two sits down at the table, you start to eat the food your mother has prepared while she is sipping on a hot cup of coffee. ''Where is dad?'' you ask with your mouth full, ''Your father has already left for his work''.

On your way out your mother turns around and runs into the house again, she returns with a gray hat with a red ribbon on. She puts it on your head and you start walking. As you turn a corner you feel your mothers grip on your hand tighten, you have been told to not do anything that would draw attention to you when that happens. You don't understand why, but every time this happens you see men and women in gray coats carrying suitcases. You give the men a smile, and they smile back as you pass them.

When the schoolday is over, your mother is waiting at the gate with your father. You run towards your father who is greeting you with  open arms. ''Did you have fun today (y/n)?'' he asks as he releases you from the hug. You shake your head, ''I didn' make any fwends, and the teacher said ghou's are monsters-'' you looks at your mom ''-you aren't a monster mom''.

The years pass by, your days are filled with love and laughter.

In the morning you wake up, eat breakfast with your father, and then goes to school. This morning were no different, as you were walking to school however, you got the feeling that something was off, but you couldn't put your finger on it. You had a hard time focusing on class, and were happy to leave when it was over.

When you walk through the door you tell your parents about the feeling of unease you have been having the whole day, ''It sounds like you are a bit stressed, come, let's buy some ice cream (y/n)'' your father then takes your hand and starts dragging you back out the door while your mother laughs and waves you off again before she goes back to her work.

You have no say in the matter, and decides that there is no point in arguing, so you follow your father to the store.

On your way back you notice an unusual amount of doves in the area, you feel more uneasy than before. You fear the worst, you prepare yourself for a confrontation with the doves, as is your father. The only thing you have to remember is 'you didn't know your mother were a ghoul'. As you walk up to the door you are greeted with doves, behind them you see inside the house, the furniture are broken and thrown around, and there are blood, a lot of blood.

''Wh-what is going on?'' you ask in shock. Your father brings you close to him, the doves look at each other, ''Are you (y/n)?'' you look up at them ''Y-yes, where is my mother? Is she alright?'' your father hugs you as you begin to sob. You already know the answers to your questions, she isn't alright, they probably took her life.

The doves takes you and your father further away from the door, ''Did you know your wife was a ghoul, sir?'' father looks at the dove in shock. You look at your father, then to the dove, ''How is that even possible?!'' you are having a hard time speaking between the sobs. Your father begins to speak ''I had no idea that-'', ''SIR! How could you not know she was a ghoul? You have a child with that monster''. Your father takes a deep breath to calm himself, ''We where never able to get a child of our own, so we adopted her'' he points at you. You knew this was a lie, but it was best to let the doves believe you weren't related to a ghoul.

the years goes by, you have lost your mother to the doves, and your father went missing a few years ago.

You live in a small apartment alone, you still don't really have any friends, and you are working at the local animal shelter. Your days are empty and bland, even the snuggles from kittens doesn't help anymore. You want someone to see you, someone to care for you, someone to hug you. Your hopes of that ever happening are getting dimmer and dimmer for every pasing day.

You wonder if you should let the doves kill you.
