Bucky was laying on Tonys bed. It was neatly made with a navy blue cover and a shitton of decorative pillows. Steve was laying on the floor, just below the bed, with his textbooks sprawled out around him. Steve lifted his gaze from his economics book to stare up at Bucky.

"When you think Tony will be back?", he asked.

"I don't know Steve, hopefully not for another couple hours.", Bucky said. He covered his face with his hands.

"Hey it wasn't that bad, you're so overreacting. You just told him that you think he's hot. Everyone thinks he's hot. Even Natasha has admitted it.", Steve roose to his feet and walked over to sit on the edge of the bed. He was trying to comfort Bucky after his 'slipup' with Tony earlier. It had been almost an hour since they left the school but Bucky just couldn't let it go. He was overthinking the situation.

"But Stevie you didn't see his face, he looked so weirded out.... And then you started laughing. I thought I was gonna die from embarrassment".

"Hey don't you think it would've been more awkward if I hadn't laughed", Steve rubbed Bucky's back soothingly. "If it had been dead silent it would have been 100% worse... right?", he continued. Again, Steve tried to shine some positive light on the situation.

Bucky appreciated Steves efforts, he really did! Though it didn't change the fact that he had just outed his feelings for Tony, to Tony. He felt like crying. He shoved his face harder into the bed to battle the burning sensation behind his eyes. The bedding smelled like Tony. "That's just fucking great", he thought to himself.

Since Tony and Bucky weren't the closest of friends, he was almost never physically close to him, no hugs or stuff like that. The only time they might get close were if they passed each other in the hallway brushing up against each other on accident, staring down the other with a vicious gaze. Then, just then could bucky get a whiff of Tony's expensive cologne, mixed in with his natural 'tonysmell'. And although he felt miserable he could still cherish the fact that he was in Tony's room, on his bed. It was probably the closest Bucky would ever be with Tony.

Bucky took a deep breath, inhaling the scent before rolling over to his back, groaning loudly. He felt pathtic. When they first arrived att Tonys, they had passed his mother, Maria on the way up to his room, she hadn't even recognised him. The last time Bucky had been over at Tonys house had maybe been two- three years ago. Perhaps it wasn't that strange that Tonys parents no longer could recognize him, but it still hurt, even if Bucky wouldn't admit it.

"Steve I'm dying.", he cried out.

"No Bucky you're definitely not.", Steve sighed in response. He was growing tired of Buckys moping.

"But it feels like it..."

Rolling off the high bed, Bucky stalked across Tony's room. He was on the hunt for Tony's playstation, or Xbox... Or whatever kind of gaming console he had. It wasnt as if Bucky per say knew if Tony had one, he just assumed that he did. Steve sat quietly on Tony's bed, his attention was fixed on Bucky as the boy moved around in the big room. Bucky was just about to start rumaging through some big wardrobe with fancy sliding doors when the distinct sound of footsteps coming up the stairs. The sound shook them both out of their trance-like state.

"Shit, shit, shit", Bucky whispered out loud. Tony's room wasn't thrashed or anything like that but it was apparent that someone (Bucky) had gone through some of his stuff, making for an uncomfortable explanation once Tony entered the room. 'Yeah sorry Tony, you know I was just casually looking through your room, and your private stuff. For what? Oh... haha, just for your gaming system to dull the raw embarrassment of outing my apparent crush on you... Yeah, yeah, a classic right?'. He wanted to disappear, sink through the floor.
