"That's for messing with papa Kieffer."

"Excuse me lang, I didn't mess with him. He messed with me first."

" Nerd na pangit pa nga ang- ang ano, ang landi naman! ."

" Malandi? Are you reffering to me or to yourself?"

"Arghhhh! Yan nababagay sayo nerd."

Remember these lines from Chapter 2-gosh! I mean from last time at the rooftop .

Those were the words I heard from the video.

It sinked in me that it was a video of me and those tatlong atribida na fans ata ni papa keiffer nila kuno.

I'm doomed.

I was caught in a catfight again.

Flashback

"You BITCH, you stole Vince away from me!"

I haltered my steps, as shock fill my face. I turn around to a face with clenching teeth and knitted eyebrow.

"Mica, stop making a scene right now."

"No Mav, we're talking about it right now!"

"Come on Mica let's talk somewhere else."

"What, you don't want to stain your oh-so-innocent reputation. A kind nerd on the outside but a traitor on the inside!"

The hallway was starting to fill up with wondering eyes, all eager to watch the scene to unfold.

"I did not steal him away from you, he was the one who kept on flirting with me, I kept on ignoring him. And he was the one hugging me, I was not hugging him!"

My voice roared throughout the hallways.

She wasn't expecting me to talk back, because I've always been silent at times.

She charged for me, aiming at my face to slap me.

But before she could my reflexes took over and I push her away. It wasn't too much force but she fell back anyways.

Suddenly Mica cried loudly as if I did something terribly wrong.

I wasn't the one at fault.

And it was looking like I was the one.

Murmurs of students also filled the hallways, I could hear my name with the name Vince, and the word I dread.

'Bitch'

I know it was not much of a big deal for most. But for it to come from my bestfriend as an insult.

My bestfriend of 2 years. And with just one fight, our friendship faded like wood burnt into smitherins.

Only then I realized our friendship wasn't so true. She only came to me when she needed me and avoided me when she wasn't in trouble.

She had me at my best when I had her at her worst, but when I was at my worst there was  no best there for me.

What kind of friendship was that?

"-vin , Mavin, Mavin!"

"Ay halimaw ka!" I jolted a bit loosing my balance dropping a few books I was holding.

I started to pick up the few fallen books on the ground. He knelt down to help me.

I crept my hand at the last book, and his hand crept in mine.

And like a scene in a movie, we looked up to catch each other's eyes.

H-hindi ako makahinga. My cheeks felt hot. Maybe it was because of the peppermint smell in his breath which I loved or just because of something else.

Papalapit na naman sya ng papalapit sa akin,  but because of what happened before when he bit my ear I backed away and stood up as quick as a spring, jolting right back up from being pushed down.

He stood up with a grin on his face , his badboy look never fading. I hate that look on his face like he's trying to melt me.

He suddenly bopped the book he's holding on my head.

"Ouch , what in the hail?" I face him with a pout on my face.

"I said hurry up!" He was strict-faced, but with a playful glint in his eyes.

"Eto na nga , I'm coming!" I answered him.

Kasalukuyan kaming umaakyat pataas ng third floor, me on the tail of Keiffer.

"Don't be such a slowpoke, we have a lot to to attend to."

"Subukan mo kayang magmadali ng may hawak na sandmakmak na papeles with these short legs unlike you! Ikaw na may mahabang biyas."

Napatigil siya sa paglalakad at tinignan ako with a weird face.

Then he burst out laughing while holding his stomach for extra drama.

"Thank you for complimenting my legs Ms. Glasses." He looked at me with a wink.

This badboy is gonna be the death of me!
