Strength

My World

I never found strength until I met him. Everybody says a man doesn't complete you, but when everything else has fallen apart then they do. When your mum and sister have both died and you don't have a father to lean on because he left you, then all you really have is someone who is there for you, your shoulder to cry on.

I lost them a year ago today. I didn't know what I was going to do. My mum was my world. She brought me up when I was down and just did all the things a perfect mum would do. Then there's my sister, Lily. What can I say, she was the best person I've ever met, she was my best friend, the person I looked up to. She was funny, intelligent and most importantly she was inspirational. She worked for so many charities and saved so many lives I couldn't count. But hers was taken by a stupid mistake. Who knew one little mistake in the shape of an orange flame could change so many lives. I certainly didn't. I left for school that morning like any other day. I rolled out of bed; got dressed into my boring grey uniform; ran downstairs to eat breakfast because I was late(as always) and then I left the house with my bag on my back and a skip in my stride. Unfortunately, that changed for the worst very quickly.

I got to school and everything was fine, I had my first two lessons which were Spanish and Drama. Then there was break, where I ate basically my entire lunch, (which I later regretted). Next was computing, which I HATE. It is just so boring and I don't understand it either, it's all gibberish to me. And fourth period was food technology where I got to see Hayden. I had a huge crush on him for AGES! He has beautiful brown hair, that flows in all the right places. Then he has the most enchanting camp green eyes, that the lights dance in. His smile brightens up the room every time I see it. We are really close and would do anything for each other. He let me write on his arm for the entire of our food lesson which was magical and I got to carry on throughout the whole of lunch. Suddenly, things took a turn for the worst.
