Denying The Truth

ROMEOS POV

Great, my chances with Hannah went down the fricking drain. I'm just that good. She ran out of the room because she remembered it was me who she was kissing not the guy she likes. Wow. She probably hates me or something. I wish I never suggested that stupid game! I heard a knock on my door, groaning I said "Come in" and sat up.

"Hey, is everything alright?" My dad asks.

"Yeah, of course. Why wouldn't it be?"

"I dunno, just wondering." He says, sitting down on the corner of my bed. "How's Hannah?" He asks cheekily.

Literally everyone is insane.

"She's fine."

"Just fine?"

"Yep" I reply. I wasn't sure why he was asking.

"Romeo, cut the crap. I know you like her; I can see it in your eyes."

"What? No I don't!" Was I that easy to read? Oh my gosh, I'm turning into a girl.

"Oh, okay. You guys are just friends?"

"Yeah" I replied.

"Okay, so you makeout with all your 'friends'?"

"We hardly made out; she stopped it before we could turn into anything bigger. Only because she doesn't like me the way I like her. She likes this other guy."

"You like her?"

"Yes I do, a lot actually. Please don't tell anyone, even mom. She'll tease me forever about it."

"I won't. But you really should tell her how you feel. I know, it sounds so easy but it actually is much harder but it's not often that you have a love interest. Now that you do you should try to make it last longer. Don't let her slip through your fingers. If you wait to long, she might think you don't like her. She'll friend zone you and trust me, that's terribly hard to get out of."

"How should I tell her, dad?" I ask honestly.

"It's up to you. Just try to do it soon, but don't rush into anything." My dad advises. "By the way, you guys madeout? Was she a good kisser? Was there tongue?"

"Ewww dad, get out! That's digusting" I say pushing him slighty and making a face.

"Hey, you didn't deny it!" He stand up off my bed and walks out the door. Closing it behind him.
