Richie's pov

It was time. Eddie and I  had gone to my dad's house and packed everything quickly before he got home. My mom was already out of the hospital and waiting in her car outside my dad's house where I stood. Eddie and I packed everything in the truck and in the back seat.

After I put the last box into the backseat I pushed the hair out of my face and looked at Eddie. He was crying. His sobs were loud and heartbreaking, it broke me. After shutting the door, I started crying myself and pulled him into a tight hug.

He burred his head into my shoulder as my shoulder became damp with Eddie's tears. I knew in my mind that I had to leave before he came back but I wanted this moment to last forever. This was the last time I would physically feel him for a..long time. Just to feel his arms around his my waist was all I needed.

"I-I love you so damn much", I said while still hugging him.
"I love you to the moon and back Richie Tozier", Eddie muffled as he burred his head in my shoulder.

I rubbed his back and pulled away. I held both of Eddie's hands and looked at him solemnly. Eddie looked at me with sadness draped from his eyes.

"Hey don't be sad, I'll be away but it doesn't mean I'm dead dead", I said while giggling slightly.
"I know Richie", he rubbed his thumb against my hand, he looked up at me, "I'll miss you..so much".
I looked at him, "I'll miss you mOrEEee", I said while smiling at him.
"Noooooo", Eddie said as he looked at me.
"yEsSsS", I said as giggled.

"Richie we got to go honey", my mom shouted as she rolled down the window.
"Just a minute",i said as I yelled back.

I then pulled Eddie into a deep and passionate kiss. He grabbed onto my wild curls and pulled his waist close.

Then I slowly pulled away and held both of hands again. A tear slid down Eddie's cheek and I wiped his off and tilted my head to the side. I smiled at him as a tear ran down my face also.

"I'll be back", I said as I stared into his eyes.
"Promise?"
"I PROMISEeEE", I said as I picked him up and kissed his face all over. I spun him in a circle and we both giggled.

I put him down and kissed him on the forehead .

"I have to go now...I love you forever and ever and ever and ever and"
"I get it", Eddie said while giggling.

I let out a breath and smiled at him. We kissed one last time and I climbed in my car.

I saw Eddie in the mirror waving bye, I smiled at him and my mom drove forward.

As I saw watching Eddie disappear and disappear in the distance, I faced forward and put on my earphones.

A tear slid down my face once again. I wiped it and looked out the window as my new life was beginning.
