ANOTHER YOU, ANOTHER WAY
Character Name: Olivia (Liv) Brown
Face Claim: Maia Mitchell
Love Interest: Jughead Jones
Short Description:
"The last thing I ever wanted to do was say goodbye to you."
or
"I'll find another you, another way."
Olivia Brown was always a 'good' girl. She had good grades, had a good group of friends, a nice family, and her face always buried into books. After her mom dies from an accident, Liv, her Dad, and her older brother have to move to Riverdale. Her Dad had grown up on the Southside, but eventually he wanted no part of the Serpents or his family anymore, so he went to college and got a good position in Los Angeles, until the accident happened.
Once they get to Riverdale, Olivia's whole life changes. She soon meets Betty Cooper, Archie Andrews, Veronica Lodge, and Kevin Keller. The five instantly became friends and they were starting their Junior year of High School in just a few days (or weeks). *
Jughead, on the other hand, was considered a 'bad' boy. He grew up on the Southside and became the leader of the Serpents after his alcoholic father, FP, retired from the gang. Jughead slowly fell into drugs and alcohol during his Sophomore year, which is why Betty broke up with him, Veronica detested him, Archie left him to accept Reggie as his new best friend, and Kevin ended up siding with the girls.
Now Jughead was only friends with Toni, Sweet Pea, and Fangs. He absolutely resented his old friends for leaving him behind, until he laid his eyes on Liv.
Olivia and Jughead meet in Pop's after they both have a horrible day (you choose what happens), they talked, got to know one another, and they ended up getting into a lot of trouble later that night (no, they don't hook up at first, they go out and get busted by the cops for whatever reason you may decide on).
The next morning, Olivia refrains from telling her friends what happened the night before, but they knew something was up, and they were going to investigate (especially Betty).
Liv and Jughead kept talking to one another and they eventually have sex at Jughead's trailer. Liv soon falls completely in love with Jughead, but it turns out it was only one-sided in the end.
Liv also goes down Jughead's path of drugs and drinking and she even considers joining the Serpents secretly, you can decide whether she goes through with it or not. She also starts failing all of her classes and begins to withdraw from her friends, and starts hanging out with Jughead's friends without Betty or anyone noticing.
While Liv and Jughead kept sneaking around for the majority of the school year, they eventually get caught by Liv's friends and Jughead's as well. This causes a riot to break out between the Southsiders and the Northsiders.
Things then become very toxic and just... weird. This causes Liv to turn on Jughead. She left him. During their fight she has to say 'The last thing I ever wanted to do was say goodbye to you." OR "I'll find another you, another way."
She then apologized to her friends and they forgive her, and all goes well on Liv's side for a little while.
Jughead goes on a bender the night Liv leaves him, and so does she. They both end up alone at 2 am and wonder where they both went wrong.
Now, for the ending, Jughead realizes that he really does love Liv and was completely in the wrong for never saying it back to her, or treating her with real respect.
But, what Jughead doesn't know, is that Liv's father found out about everything that happened (you decide how). He then sends Liv to a boarding school in New York (not the Sisters of Quiet Mercy) just as Jughead was about to ask Liv to meet him at Pop's to talk, in the exact same booth where they first talked. *
Now, that was the ending I had in mind, but you may change the ending, I suck at them. *
This can also be a short story if you want it to be.
