The sun is what wakes me up this morning, making me curse at Sami for leaving the curtain open when we were hanging out last night.
I groan as I get out of the comfy guest room bed and walk over to the small mirror that is hanging up on the far wall, my eyes immediately going towards my neck in pleasant surprise.
My whole entire neck and chest are covered in hickeys, dark red splotches marring my skin. That's not what I'm so pleased about though. There is a dark purple bruise on either side of my collar bone from where Jimin bit me, them throbbing in pain as the cold air makes contact with my warm skin. I have always been one to be proud of the bruises I acquire, so there is no way I'm covering these up.
I decide to wear something that will expose all of the marks Jimin left me with, grateful that it looks like it's going to be a rather warm day today. I put on one of the new two piece outfits that I got with Sami on our little shopping trip, the black, white, and grey colors making the red and purple bruises appear even more vibrant in color.
Like usual, since we are going to school today, I don't put any makeup on my face. I run my fingers through my hair before deciding to put it up and into a messy bun, some random strands of hair framing my face and giving me a laid-back, yet presentable, look. I leisurely walk into the bathroom before brushing my teeth, looking at my reflection in the mirror before deciding that I should probably wash my face before leaving since I'm already late and I don't care about taking even more time.
Jimin's door is closed, which I know means that he is still asleep. I can honestly relate to this on a spiritual level, seeing as I would willingly sleep the whole day away if I really wanted to. I turn towards Sami's room and the door is open, meaning she probably already left to go to school and is waiting for me to show up.
I walk down the stairs and hop towards the kitchen, picking up an apple from the fruit bowl as I smile at the woman sitting at the table.
"Good morning, Mrs. Park" I greet the stunningly beautiful older woman as she looks up from the book she was reading, a smile gracing her lips. Both Sami and Jimin got their looks from her and it is obvious, her amber eyes reducing in size the larger her smile gets.
"Morning, love" she replies in her surprisingly soft voice for an ex gang member. "You off to school?"
"Sadly."
I put the apple between my teeth as I put on some shiny, white boots with blocky heels on them, them coming all the way up to my knees. I pick up the new skateboard I copt and put it in my hand before stuffing my phone into my bra seeing as I don't feel like bringing my backpack today, taking a large bite out of the apple as I take it out of my mouth.
"Jimin's still asleep by the way" I say nonchalantly, leaning on one foot. I didn't say it to snitch, since Mrs. Park wouldn't care either way, but I thought she would want to know.
"Thanks. I'll wake him up around lunch time and send him to school."
I notice the way her eyes flit across my chest before widening at the amount of marks I have, it clear to tell that they are impressive. She doesn't make any comment about the hickeys though, which is what I love about her, a small smirk on her lips as she brings her gaze back to her book.
"Have fun, love."
With that, I head to school. The wind rushes past my face and keeps me cool as the harsh sun's rays threaten to make me even more tan than I have already become from boarding around everywhere. I regret not bringing a pair of sunglasses today as I have to squint in order to see properly, it a relief when I finally get inside of the school's gates. The Park household is a lot further away from the school than my mom's is, it already almost lunch by the time I put everything away and into my locker.
The bell rings as I slam my locker shut, the sound clanging against the walls and echoing off the surfaces. I can hear someone hiss out a complaint at my action, it obvious that they wanted me to hear it seeing as it was distinguishable over the sounds of students laughing as they walk out of their respective classrooms.
My eyes narrow as I look around for the culprit, not really in the mood. They settle on a group of three guys and two girls, them huddled against the other side of he hallway and a little ways in front of me. I have never seen them before, my eyes taking in their rugged appearance. Neither of the girls have any tattoos on their bodies from what I can see, their faces free of makeup and their hair in simple ponytails. Nothing stands out to me at all from any of the students standing there aside from the way they all seem to be staring at me.
The halls quickly empty, the other students set on getting in line for food or finding a good place to sit in the cafeteria. I stay where I am though, keeping my eyes on the group of five that are talking amongst themselves.
I can tell that they are still talking about me from the way they will subtly look over in my direction before turning away when they meet my gaze. I smirk to myself, crossing my arms as I lean my back against the cold, metal lockers, not removing my gaze from them as amusement takes over my current mood.
"What's up, hoe?" a familiar voice calls from down the hall, making me smile.
"Took you guys long enough!"
I jog up to the seven figures walking towards me, wrapping an arm around Sami's shoulder when I get there. She takes another look at my chest and neck and sucks in a deep breath, shaking her head slightly.
"I still can't believe you actually like shit like that" she says as she jerks her head towards my bruises.
I shrug, "Jimin could do anything he wants to me with that mouth of his and I would thank him greatly for it."
"Anything, huh?"
My eyes light up at the sound of his voice, it causing me to turn on my heels and look towards the boy who just made it to school. He is smirking down at me, his eyes alight with mischief as he slowly walks towards where the rest of us are now standing. My eyebrows raise as he slides his arms around my waist before pulling me closer to his firm body, trailing my arms up his chest before wrapping them around his neck.
"Where'd all this confidence come from, Chim?" I ask teasingly, my voice low as I tilt my head to the side.
He chuckles lowly, the vibrations causing a tremor to run through my body as one of his hands reaches down to grasp my ass.
He is about to speak when he stops, his gaze going behind me instead. A look of annoyance crosses his face before he rolls his eyes, making me step out of his hold and turn to see who he is looking at.
"You know her?" I ask, pointing obviously at one of the girl's that must be new to our school. He sighs before nodding his head, still looking annoyed at her presence.
"Yeah. She's my ex girlfriend."
