Ch 27 - reuniting with Minato

Third person POV-

"There! That should be it! Your vitals seem normal, as do everything which is a miracle. You collapsing at the gate was merely from exhaustion" a sweet nurse told obito who was quitly sitting cross legged on his hospital bed

"Gee thanks! I was really worried there for a second! Y'know with all the tests. I thought I had a backlash" obito answered, the so called backlash referring to the wounds he got at kanabi bridge

"We're happy for that too. Now..would you accept visitors?"

"Only those on my team please.."

"I'll fill that in, now rest. We'll make sure to tell you if your team arrives"

"Thanks Maeko!" Obito thanked the nurse using her name.

He was actually exhausted, which just made the acting more exhausting as well, so the moment she was out of the door he fell backwards onto the bed letting out a sigh.

'Getting into the village was a breeze' he thought, 'I also thought that Konoha would have tightened their security. After all it had only been 13 days since Danzo was murdered. And I got into the village on the eleventh day'

Obito POV-

I was nearly sure that it had been long enough by now.
It had been 11 days since I murdered Danzo, and though it wasn't that long, hiding out any longer wouldn't help me out.

"Just stay away for a couple of days. Perhaps send some clones out so I'll be able to contact you shiro"

"Yes that would be a good idea. I Guess it could take a while?"

"Yes, i'm sure my sensei want's me to answer quite a lot of questions..most likely a rough interrogation"

"So what are you gonna do now?" Tobi Said running up in front of me, as hyper as ever.

"I'll flare my chakra till there's almost nothing left, i would normally be able to handle, it but I'll fake collapsing near the gate. The shinobi on the wall should spot me quickly.
But it's hard to believe it'll be that easy to be honest"

Third person POV-

'And that's Exacly what we did' Obito finished his thoughts.
Obviously he was relieved of how easy it was getting in. That just meant one less problem to deal with.

Right now he had more than enough with 'saving the shinobi world' and 'remembering how'
Not to forget the 'set-' and 'soft moments'

He couldn't get the last part out of his head. Moments in time that's inevitable. But which ones?

Obito could only hope it wasn't the worst ones?

"It might by my end for now..but you are naive If you believe that nobody wishes the same as i...i will return..some...day" those were Madara's last words.

'Nooo no! That can't be!' Obito thought, only spiking the anxiety he was feeling at the moments.

It was as if everything around him became so dark, like he was alone in the world, alone with all of the problems. Alone in a void.

Luckily, before he could sink deeper there was a knock on the door.

Obito was a bit shaken up so it took a few seconds, but finally he managed to let out a "o-oh! Yes? Who is it?"

And with that question the door opened revealing Maeko "your sensei, the fourth hokage is Here to ses you!"

"Oh..yeah you Can just let him in"

Maeko nooded before disappearing for a few second, only to come back with minato trailing behind her.
She gestured minato to go in, before leaving to do her other duties.

Minato didn't waste time and he went through the door and stood tall next the obito's bed.
Obito didn't dare look at his face, he was scared that he would see the look one gives a traitor.
Minato had been on his frail since before Kanabi.
'Could this time without me have helped him connecting the dots?' Obito thought in panic, which he knew was so unlike him , but this whole experience had put him out of his healthy mindset.

"Thank Kami.." Minato Said where bending and squeezing obito into a hug, much to the Uchiha's surprise.

"I'm sorry...i- i do know something is going on-" once again a Lumb formed in Obito's throat "-but you're very precious to me obito..to the whole team. Despite your obvious changes...you're still our Obito. So i'm Sorry" Minato finished, creating a smile upon Obito's lips, as he finally gave into the hug. And for the first time in a long time, he seemed to forget his problems, for just a short while.
