Obito POV-

"What the-" I had thought it was about time to introduce Rin and Kakashi to Shiro and Tobi.
After all one of the missions i has given myself was to give these two a place to call home. A place to return to.

However I wasn't quite expecting Tobi to be this exited, especially not about a Maneki-Neko.

"Oh yes we met a old lady who seemed to know you...she Said something like 'a friend of Obito's is a friend of mine' and gave Tobi that" shiro Said and pointed to Tobi who was proudly showing the slightly terrified Kakashi and Rin his waving cat.

"Isn't it a cutie?!" tobi exclaimed.

"O-Oh! Yes! Yes it c-certainly is" Rin said and went to hide behind Kakashi who looked like he wanted to draw one of his kunai against tobi, but didn't, probably afraid to anger the strange creature in any way possible.

The scene was so overly dramatic that I couldn't help but let out a laugh.
'Tobi will forever be a true child of heart...if he had one of those that is..
...nahhh! It still counts!' I though while laughing.

"Guys.. guys! Oh geez..." how do I even explain this?
"Remember when I told you that I had help in rehabilitation? In this timeline? and the other?"

With that both of them looked towards me in shock.
"Tell me this is one of your pranks..." Rin silently begged.

I shrugged and started sweating a bit "Yeah, no! It's not a joke..it was these two.."

"That's just messed up, I mean... they're not humans are they?" Kakashi Said and looked at Tobi with a skeptical look in his eyes.

"We are artificial humans! We're very well made, we have feelings and everything!" Tobi said getting quite close to Kakashi and Rin.

Their reactions made me chuckle once more before I decided to help them by taking control of Tobi.

"Now now Tobi.. they don't really understand just yet, so be on your best behavior will you?" I asked with a smile on my face.

"AHAA! Alright, I'll be very good!" Tobi exclaimed and made a salute.

"Good boy! Now-" before I continued I mentally slapped myself for EVER using that phrase again.

But then I noticed the strange looks Rin and Kakashi was giving me, so I quickly collected myself and continued.
"Now! We'll have to figure out what to do with them too"

"Wait what do you mean?" Rin asked, slowly walking out from behind Kakashi.

"Well.. it might sound crazy.. but they're good...Ehm..people?"

At that Kakashi raised one of his eyebrows in doubt.

"In my timeline... well there we were comrades for about 18 years... even though it's different here.. I know them... they might not be humans but they're better than some humans I've met.."

"If you were comrades weren't they bad guys too?" Kakashi said, questioning my logic.

"W-We'll yes...but really not that bad, they mostly did soy work. That's also what I want them to do in this time"
