I no longer feel close to you;
that feeling is so very strange,
but I'm learning to live with it.
Our friendship was one for the books,
never a dull moment with you.
I used to look back on our conversations
when I felt low,
but I realize now it only brings me lower.
I miss you oh so dearly.
I never expected to meet someone on this app who would change my life in such a drastic way,
but I did and I'm so happy you came in and flipped my world on it's head.
Looking back on our friendship I missed out on so many important things you were trying to make me realize.
I want you know I've realized it now,
And I'm working on being a better person,
who is worthy of your many praises.
