I woke up before Kellin and couldn't fall back asleep. His arm was tightly wrapped around my waist and I could barely move. I quietly slipped out of his grasp and creeped out of his room as quickly as possible, trying hard not to wake him up. I stepped out and turned to close the door behind me. As soon as it clicked shut I sighed in relief.
"Hi Bwandy!" A small voice yelled from behind me. I jumped and spun around seeing Copland standing there in her pink cupcake pajamas and clutching a little stuffed lamb. How did she get out of her room? I guess Kellin meant it when he said she could open doors.
"Hi Cope!" I whispered. "We have to be quiet so we don't wake Daddy up, okay?" She nodded and I picked her up.
"Can we watch TV?" She asked as I carried her out to the living room. I set her down on the couch.
"Okay, what do you want to watch?" I picked up the remote and turned the TV on.
"Sesame Stweet!" She demanded. I laughed at her response and turned on her favorite show. "Bwandy I'm hungy!" Her stomach grumbled and I thought I could make breakfast for the three of us.
"Okay, what do you want for breakfast?" I asked her.
"Donut!" She cried. I laughed and patted her head. Her eyes were glued to the screen and I walked into the kitchen. There was plenty of food and I decided on eggs and bacon for Kellin and I, and a mini chocolate donut for Copland. The smell of bacon filled the room as it sizzled in the pan. There was a poke at my leg and I looked down.
"Is my donut weady yet?" Cope whined. Her lips were pressed together and I sighed, taking a donut out of the box.
"Here you go, Cope. When you're finished do you want to help me surprise Daddy?" I asked. Her eyes got wide and she nodded excitedly. "Yeah? Okay, it's almost ready." I told her.
I finished cooking and Cope finished her donut. I gave her the silverware to carry in while I took the tray with all the food. I led her into Kellin's room quietly and kneeled down to Cope's height.
"Can you go wake up Daddy?" I asked. She nodded and put the silverware on the tray. I laughed as she ran up to, and climbed up on the bed and started jumping up and down.
"Daddy! Daddy! Wake up Daddy!" She yelled. I followed her and brought the tray of food as Kellin groaned and turned around.
"Mmm...what? Copey, what is it?" He mumbled sleepily as Cope collapsed on top of him.
"It's bweakfast time!" She announced and pointed to me. I smiled and gave him the tray. He cocked his head and smiled.
"Aww, Brandy you didn't have to make breakfast!" He groaned, though I could tell he was happy to see food.
"I know but Cope and I were hungry. I thought you might be too." He chuckled and took a piece of bacon.
"Well, thank you. This looks so good!" We started eating as Cope laid next to Kellin and watched us eat.
"So Kells?" I asked. I wanted to bring up sponsoring his tour.
"Mhmm?" He mumbled through a mouthful of food.
"You know how you had the whole album versus tour thing?" He nodded. "Well, I was wondering...or well, um, I'm going to sponsor your tour." Kellin gasped and looked like he almost choked. He cleared his throat and looked at me.
"What!?" He exclaimed. I smiled and nodded. But Kellin shook his head. "No, Brandy, I can't ask you to do that." I furrowed my eyebrows.
"What? Kellin, you didn't ask me, I'm telling you, I'm going to."
"Brandy, Hun, that's sweet of you, but I don't want you feeling like you have to just because of us." He said seriously. I shook my head.
"No, Kellin, I really want to. I sponsor tons of tours, it's no big deal, really." I insisted. Kellin sighed and took my hand.
"Brandy..." He trailed off.
"Kells I would put it under Hot Topic. It's not like anyone would question it!"
"Brandy I get that but I don't want you to think I only like you because I want your god damn money!" He yelled. He was squeezing his eyes shut and I jumped at his raised voice.
"Daddy stop scweaming!" Copland shouted. Kellin patted her shoulder.
"Sorry, Cope. Can you go watch TV for a while? Daddy needs to talk to Brandy." He said. Cope nodded and jumped off the bed, running to the door and leaving. Kellin looked back at me apologetically.
"I'm sorry, I just--" He started.
"I know, Kellin. But I really want you to be able to get back on tour. I know you don't just want my money. And I promise, if we don't work out, I won't take it back." I said. Kellin was silent for a minute, but then he sighed.
"Are you sure? Because you really don't need to. I guess I can't really stop you though..." I nodded happily.
"Yeah, I want to." He smiled and pulled me into a hug.
"Thank you, Brandy."
"No problem." He hesitated.
"Wait, do you really think we won't work out?" He asked, only somewhat jokingly. I laughed and pulled away from him.
"No, I think we will, but just in case." I explained. Kellin played with a strand if my hair.
"Good, because I really like you..." He said sweetly. I smiled and he slipped his other hand into mine.
"I really like you too." I said and squeezed his hand lightly. His arm was around my shoulders and he pulled me a little closer.
"What are you doing today?" He asked. He leaned his forehead against mine.
"Nothing important, why?" I asked, trying to tease him a little. He chuckled and pressed his lips to mine. He tangled his fingers in my hair to keep me from moving away to quickly.
"Stay with me?" He whispered. I smiled.
"Yeah, why not forever?" I asked. I was only meant to come over for dinner last night, and here I am staying all night and the next day. "Oh...wait a second..." I said when I had realized what I said was the reason Kellin was smirking.
"Please stay forever with me!" He shouted dramatically. He kissed my cheek and we broke down laughing. The door swung open again and Cope stood there looking distraught. Or, at least distraught for a three year old. She glared at Kellin and crossed her arms.
"Daddy! Stop scweaming!"
