chapter 5

Y/n knows what he has to do. If Cainka has a clan of his own, then he will no doubt strike against the Flame clan.

Y/n begins getting his gear together.  

Wraith notices this.

Wraith: Y/n? What are you doing?

Y/n: I have to go to the clan, and warn them of this war. And fight it.

Wraith: I'm going with.

Y/n: Renee.

Wraith: *angrily* NO! You said that we'd work together in things like this more!  I'm not going to let you die! *starts to cry* I..I can't. I...I love you! Why?! Why do you have to try and keep me out of this?!

Wraith hugs Y/n and cries into his chest.

Y/n hugs back.

Wraith sobs into Y/n.

Wraith: *sadly* I just want you to be okay. Without you, i'm all alone.  

Y/n picks her up and places her on the bed. She blushes as he gets on top of her.

Wraith: Y...Y/n?!

Y/n: Renee. I love you too. You mean everything to me. I don't want you to get hurt. 

Wraith: It'll hurt me more, if you leave me behind. Even if it's to protect me. 

Wraith relaxes as he holds her down.

Y/n leans down and kisses her, she kisses back with full passion.

Y/n let's go and Wraith takes the initiative and pulls his shirt off.

Wraith: Y/n. I love you!

After their fun.  It's time to leave and go to the ship that houses clan Flame. 

They get in Y/n's ship and jump to the coordinates of clan Flame's home ship. 

When they arrived, Y/n transmitted his access codes and was allowed to dock. 

When they docked, they were immediately greeted by a Yajuta duo.  Y/n's adoptive father and mother. 

Y/n's adoptive father is named Zuakou. His mother us named Canka.

Zuakou: Y/n. It's been a long time.

Y/n: Father. I wish I could have come under better circumstances.

Canka: What is wrong?

Y/n: I believe that Cainka has formed a bad blood clan, and he wishes to have revenge on the Flame clan.

Zuakou: Then we must go to the Matriarch right away! We must prepare ourselves for war.

Canka: Y/n. Who is this human that you've brought with you? 

Y/n: This is Renee. She's...she's my life mate.

Wraith looked at Y/n. This was a very indecent proposal, but she didn't mind.

Zuakou: Welcome, Renee. 

Y/n: Ika is also with them, she claims vengeance against me.

Zuakou: You did embarrass her.

Y/n: She did it to herself.

Wraith: What did she do?

Canka: Went through a life mate ritual, she found a very dangerous prey that many hunters were afraid to face.  But when it was presented to Y/n, he rejected it and her.

Y/n: I wasn't ready to be a life mate, we never even mated during the season.

Wraith: That's a common thing to do?

Y/n: It's a culture thing.

Wraith had a realization.

Wraith: Y/n, how many did you "mate" with?

Y/n just realized the hole that he dug himself into.

Y/n: Um...well...I...I don't know?

Wraith: *angrily* What do you mean that you don't know?!

Y/n: *panic* Well...once you're at that age, it's kind of what's expected of you! I didn't really have a choice! 

Wraith pouts.

The four go and meet the Matriarch. 

The Flame Matriarch is made aware of the situation and begins to prepare the Flame clan's last stand.

They land on a jungle planet and send put the challenge transmission. 

It didn't take very long for the bad blood clan to make an appearance. 

But the scouts reported that they had some assistance, they hired mercenaries to serve as cannon fodder.  

This is would not be an easy fight.

The Flame clan readied themselves for the battle to come. It was an all or nothing affair.

Y/n met with Wraith.

Y/n: Renee, stay safe.

Wraith: You too.  Go get them.

Y/n nodded and joined the vanguard. 

The Flame clan ran across the trees and looked out for the enemy. Suddenly they were met with a hail of bullets from the mercenaries.

Battles began on the treetops as bad blood hunters began to clash with Flame clan hunters.

The sounds of bullets and plasma cannons filled the area. 

Y/n looked for Cainka. He knew that Cainka would go straight for him.

Cainka appears from above Y/n and tackles him down to the ground.  

Y/n kicks Cainka off of him and gets back up.

Cainka gets back up.

Cainka: You should've never been allowed to be in the Falme clan, human pretender! 

Cainka and Y/n begin to duel, but the battle has only just begun.
