Mind games part 2

Todoroki's pov:I brushed off the rubble from my shoulders a little winded from the battle i had just encountered with a mindless beast for vampire.

He was quite dull and easy to manipulate into subduing.
Though i didn't leave that battle unwounded a few scars of my arms and back.

I had gathered very little info on this place and I hadn't commed in to check on Izuku and uncover his findings.

"Izuku give me a follow up

Nothing but static...something must be Jamming the communication.

There were books and and chem labs that looked as if they hadn't been touched for so long,old age had caught up with them given that they had holes and cracks.

" Hey did you hear that?" Said a voice in the far distance.
Dammit! My trails being followed and that sorry excuse for a spy isn't getting my response.

"Yeah it came from that way"

I quickly dashed into an empty room and hid from eyesight.
I'd been trained by the most harshest teacher i could ever have so handling a couple of goons wouldn't be as much of a problem.

The problem was attracting more eyes on me that were unwanted.

They stopped at the door and my breath quickened in anticipated suspense. I waited for to see if they'd do anything right at that moment.

The door slowly opened and my ears twitched at the noise.
"You think you can run? i've recorded your scent in my tracker (nose) and when i find you,you're dead you little rat!*

I grit my teeth and ready my quirk just in case they were bold enough to attack. For a split second I underestimated them when they both lunged at me at the same time. I dodged the first slash of their claws and placed a wall of ice between us but one their quirks was able to melt things.

I had to end this quickly and find Izuku before we get found and get killed! I got pinned for a split second by one of the vampires who had grabbed my shoulder. I kicked swiftly and push them both back against each other before quickly using my ice quirk to freeze them both up their necks. I wipe blood from my chin and spit the bloody saliva out.

" Now I'm not big on sparing violent vampires but i need a few questions answered" I groaned standing to my feet glaring deathly at them.

The stares they returned were shaken and worn but still unfazed.

An huge boom was heard in the west of the castle. And the sounds of blaring sirens came into hearing.

Izuku...

I dashed out the room and followed the echoes of the explosions hoping this kid didn't get himself killed!

"Ay you can't 'eave us ere!" Screamed a vampire with a cockney accent.

I followed the tracker that I was given and followed the blue beeping dot to it's location hoping when I got there that scrawny idiot was still alive.

(An hour prior:)
(Izuku's pov:)

The masked magician asked me to stay  perfectly still in the center of the stage and to be honest with all those eyes on me I blushed mildly averting my gaze from everyone who glanced at me.

"Now folks,Izu here will hold this one dove in his hands and it'll transform into multiple doves!" The crowd clapped and i blushed an even deeper red.

Todoroki hadn't called in for a while and I was getting a little anxious from no response.

I glanced down at the beautiful bird in my arms,it ruffled it's feathers calmly and cooed softly.
