The rubix cube twisted in his fingers slowly as he blindly lost himself in dark thoughts,he licked his dry cracked lips slowly. He had been contemplating a series of plans through his deranged mind ones that could be successful and ones that would end up in dirt.
He wanted to find what was his... His most valuable treasure.. The one with the elixir that could cause world destruction and turmoil and he would make them his.
He chuckled,trying to think of what they'd look like,how their blood tasted,gender,and quirk if they had any...he wasn't picky just as long as their internal powers were his.
He knew a murderous vampire with the very same *gift* but from the mouth of one one his lackeys,he learned they were found dead. Body completely decomposed as if they were a simple human.
Vampires bodies didn't decompose when they died or had been killed they simply just...stayed intact unless shot with holy bullets then they would turn to ash.
But he also knew this vampire could take on healthy living host by just turning them into vampires and transferring their Dna into their host' brain living on forever in their bodies controlling them manipulating them into becoming one with them and then stealing their body in the end.
He hummed in frustration,he needed a live host with pure blood not a corspe. Finding his treasure would be more difficult and time consuming and he liked things to be swift and easy.
"Toga"
It was only for an instant but a girl with messy pigtails appears in front of him with the cheesiest grin she could plaster in her right hand twirled a switch blade as she bounced on her heels. "You called Tomura?" She asked bubbily incapable of standing still
"There's been a change of plans...my treasure has only temporally slipped through my fingers...i need you to find them". He handed her a handkerchief stained with blood and the sudden aroma made her drool. "The illusionist as secretive as he is has given this...it's the blood of my treasure,their divine essence" Tomura shuddered at the scent wafting through his nostrils,such a mint chocolatey aroma that only be from such a precious treasure.
"I know you can smell the scent of fresh blood and open wounds.find them and report back to me as quickly as you can"
Toga hummed and firmly saluted. "Yes sir!" She disappeared into smoke and travled through walls.
He then went back to twirling the rubix cube unaware that he had already solved it. All he could he think about his most valuable treasure,he chuckled softly. "It won't be long now" he whispered. . . . . Izuku's Pov:The alarm on my phone went off at 5:35 this morning,i groggly hit dismiss irritated at the fact i had forgotten take it off final exam time. The fall semester had ended leaving me with a good month old break,i had crammed all my work in just 3 days and finished right before my deadlines and had 5 whole relaxing days without any vampire drama!
I think about turning over to go back to sleep but i just stare at the ceiling...the memories of 4 days ago flood my head. Not only had the voice taken over my body and went on a "all you can eat pet buffet!" I groan in disgust,i had never really drank animal blood,it was bitter but oddly satisfying...BUT it was still wrong!
*You thought i'd go hunt humans didn't you?*
"Drinking the blood of someone's pet isn't better either and did you take it into account that i could've caught a disease!*
The voice groaned in annoyance *I did it for the survival of us! and i can make this body immuned to any human virus!* "I told you can do this on my own! I don't want you inside my body!,i didn't even want to be turned into a vampire! THIS ALL YOUR FAULT you took my normal life away!"
There was long silence between us until the voice finally spoke. *Do you know why i chose you?* I could've cared less but it was a serious question. "Was it because you wanted a fresh body?" It chuckled. *Your partially correct,my previous body was getting old and worn and i needed a fresh host,if i didn't find a new host soon i would've disappeared* I bury my head into my pillow as i continue to listen. *When night had fallen it was time to hunt for a new body and you just hapoend to be out at walking alone and that's when i made my move,the moment i knocked you unconscious,I injected my blood into your veins infusing our dna. Usually i can control my host easily with tempting their desires and i help them achieve it one way or another,my last host wanted to kill the 1# Hunter Elite but died before he could achieve it...too sickly to even stand*
"So that's how you live? jumping from person to person,draining them off all life and repeating the cycle?" *They'd live a lot longer if the just accepted me completely, the host' body only comes immortal unless we both accept each other...none of my previous host were willing to do it however*
"What happend to your first body?" The voices was silent. *I didn't have one,i'm not even human, i was created eons ago orignally meant to used as a power source for a tyrant vampire king,i am an expirement meant to achieve selfish purposes of others...if i had my own body things could've been different for me but after living for long i've realized that i can make my own desires happen by force*
After hearing this my outlook on this creature changed a little,it was created to slave away to others and now it's only seeking indepence for itself...maybe even more.
"Did you have a have a name?" I asked. "One of my more younger host had called me Xerxes one time...but i never went by it after they died"
"Then until i can get rid of you,i'll call you Xerxes" i replied back rolling onto my back. The laughed loudly. "None of my host has never shown me such half hearted compassion as you have,Izuku i find it rather ammusing!" I snicker softly.
The sun begins to peak behind the tall city buildings,signalling the world it was time to wake. I sit up in my sheets and open the window next to my bed. The streets begin to fill people pursuing the day. . . But it's only dawn. And dawn is where things begin.
