Chanel.

In the kitchen getting dinner started still thinking about Rashad, I didn't mean to hurt him, sometimes i wonder if i should've never told him maybe we'll still be good. Janel comes in the kitchen.

Janel:" Mom can I go on your phone?"

"For what?"
Janel: "To play Baby Shark."
"Oh no i don't want to hear Baby Shark, you've been playing that all week."

Janel:" Please mommy."
Rashad came down with a bag in his hand as if he was leaving.

"here go upstairs if my phone rings bring it here."
Janel went upstairs and Rashad and I started talking.

"Where you going?"
Rashad:" To a hotel, I just think we need a break."
"Baby please don't do this, i'm sorry the kiss just happened i promise it won't happen again."
Rashad:" The kiss isn't what i'm trippin about."
"Then what is it? cause you haven't talk to me in weeks i'm trying to fix this I don't know what else to do."
Rashad:" The night you told me you guys kiss told me everything. you still love him. I don't think i can get past that. I really wanted to marry you but you love who you love."
"I don't love him, i love you, me and him are done."

Rashad:" you say that, But we both know that ain't true. can you look me in my eyes and tell me that? I didn't think so."
Tears started falling. i couldn't say anything at this point, but i'm sorry. even that was a struggle. I really lost him. I heard Janel coming down the stairs and quickly dried my tears.
Janel:" Mommy Daddy on the phone."
I looked at him one more time, Janel eyes followed mine.
Janel:"Where's Shad goin."
He went down to her level.
Rashad:" Shad gotta go for a little bit."
Janel:" Please don't go, I won't play Baby shark no more."
Rashad:" No you didnt do anything wrong. i just got to take care of some things."
Janel:" Will you come back?"
Rashad:" I love you."
Janel just hugged him tight crying " Please don't go."
Rashad signaled me to get her.
"Janel baby come here."
I picked her up, all i could hear was her crying which broke my heart even more. his mouth didn't say nothing but his eyes told me he love me. then he just walked out the door.
Janel:" I don't want him to go."
"I know, me neither."
I gave her, her plate, tuck her in bed. and started cleaning the kitchen. shortly after someone knocks on the door. open to see Carlos and J.
"Hey y'all."
Carlos:" Hey Chanel."
J:" Hey, you good?"
"Yeah i'm good, why you ask?"
J whispers in my ear. " Cause it looks like you've been crying."
Carlos:" Where Rashad at?"
"Uh he had some business to take care of so he left."
Carlos:" Oh aight."
"So what's up."
Carlos:" J wanted to talk to you about something."
J:" Dang nigga throw me under the bus."
Carlos:" Aye you need to tell her."
"Tell me what?"
J:" Coco."
"What about her?"
J:" She's been seeing some cop so i cut her off, then today she blackmailed me in my office. "
"What she say?"
"if she don't get any of my products then she was going to snitch and get her cop boyfriend involve in my business."
"Please tell me you didn't give her any of your products."
J:"  Nah I didnt, but THIS nigga over here did."
"Carlos are you serious why did you do that?"
J:" Yeah Carlos why did you? Thought you was my boy."
Carlos:" Man I am, You know that."
J:" So why you gave my stuff away?"
Carlos:" I didn't. "
J:" It sure didn't look like it."
"J hold on. what do you mean you didn't give her the product?"
Carlos:" Alright so like J said, Coco came in trying to blackmail us if we didn't give her any if our products so i just went in the back and put a substitute and a Pinch of coke and send her on her way, so when she realized its not the real thing we already been relocated and stuff."
J:" My nigga, I should've known you wouldn't switch up on me."
Carlos:" Yeah you should've."
"So we need to come up with a plan while we got that trick distracted."
J:" Hold up, what you mean we?"
"What i just said we me you and Carlos need to come up with a plan to get rid of her once and for all."
J:" Nah, I don't think it's safe for you to be apart of this."
"Look, That trap is what helps keeps food on the table and clothes for Janel. and I never like nor trusted her and what you told me just proved why i don't, i dont play when it comes to mine, so like i said we need to  figure out what we gonna do to get rid of her.
Carlos: We were going to move some products but we don't know where.
"Bring the stiff here, I got a safe i can put it. but after yall go there i want you to go in there and wipe everything down just incase."
J:" ight, but where this coming from? I never seen this side of you before."
"Lets just say you got the right one."
