PETER

"Peter, get down here! There's a young lady here to see you."

I lazily got up from my bed, trudging out of my room and downstairs. Aunt May was waiting for me at the bottom of the steps. She gave me sad look.

"Peter have you been crying?" She asked.

"No."

Aunt May gave me a look.

"I'm fine. I'm done crying, I just want to continue to grieve in silence."

She sighed.

"You have a guest, don't keep her waiting." She said, before making her way upstairs.

I walked to the opened door and there stood a girl with dark brown hair that was in a bun, wearing a suit. She was pretty short. I have never seen her before. Not even at school.

She was looking down at her phone, eyes narrowed and biting her lip. When I got to the door she slipped her phone into her pocket, then put her hands behind her back.

"Hi?" I asked.

"Peter Parker." She said.

"Yeah."

She looked me up and down. Like she was analyzing me.

"You look like you're having a bad morning."

"And you look...like you're having a great one. Do I know you?"

"No."

"Oh, then can I-"

"Peter, my name is Ella. I'm you're sister."

I leaned against the door frame, mouth wide open. Well this is one way to start my morning. Ella rolled her eyes.

"Close your mouth, you'll catch flies. Plus, you have morning breath." She said.

I shook my head and closed my mouth.

"Sister....you, sister Ella. M-my sister? No-nope. I don't have--I--I am a only child."

"No you aren't. I know this might be hard to believe, but I can explain everything. May I come in?"

I stepped to the side and she walked in. When she went into the kitchen I put my hand up to my mouth and exhaled, before taking a sniff, and my nose scrunched up. She was right.

I ran upstairs and into the bathroom, brushed my teeth quickly and run back down stairs.

I stopped at the door way of the kitchen. Ella was sitting down at the kitchen table, hands on her lap. Her foot tapping against the floor.

"You know, for a 16 year old you dress very professionally." I said.

Ella looks at me, and folds her fingers in her lap.

"I get that a lot. And I'm 17, I turn 18 in 6 months." She said.

"That's good to know. I gotta lock that in the old noggin."

Ella smiles. I smile back, grabbing a box of cereal from on top of the fridge.

"Do you want some?" I asked.

"No thank you."

I grab a bowl from the cabinet and place it on the table, pouring in the cereal.

"So, you're my sister, why didn't I ever know about you?" I asked.

"Because our parents didn't want you too."
