The first day was cool, maybe. Highschool is stressful, Mr. Gray our language arts teacher was in his mid-fifties, huge dude, ruffled brown hair and glasses. We all had the same schedules and our lockers were right across each other's, we all attracted a lot of stares and Leo was trying hard not to burn people. No one in class bothered to pay attention to the teacher, vice versa. We all tried avoiding eye contact with the locals around the school. One girl tried to ask me for my phone number.

"Hey! Perry right?" Andrea, the girl who attempted to ask me out.

"Percy.." I replied. She rolled her eyes.

"I can call you anything I want boy, because you're mine!" She said cheerfully.

"Wha-" I got pulled in and got kissed by Annabeth. She sure did know how to save me outta these trash.

"He's mine you mean." Annabeth retorted, I hugged her closed and kissed her flowing golden hair.

"Yea right Bella, he-" Andrea didn't have to finish to get a fist pie in the face by Leo. Her face was burning red.

I glared at Leo, "Did you-" I was so worried that people would dissect him and probably find out that he has fire powers. He eyed me like, sorry man, I got mad.
Before we could make up an excuse for that warm punch, Andrea fled for her life.

"You okay?" The others asked as they rushed down the hallway. Annabeth, Leo and I nodded in sync, we were okay, I thought that was pretty cool. I figured we would have more people targeting on us so we all decided to stick around each other, well not like hot-glue ourselves together cause that would sting. We would follow our friends most of the time except for going to the bathroom.

"It's gonna be awkward bumping into that girl Andrea." Leo snorted.

We walked along the hallways when we spotted two familiar looking faces. I glared at them, and then at Annabeth, we were the only two who has seen those two familiar faces.

The Kanes. They were in this school.
