    Annabeth's P.O.V.
Why do I always get kidnapped in the hallway? Why do I always have to be threatened by spiders? I asked myself, it's fine, Luke would never hurt me. Percy's coming anyways. I reassured myself, as the eight-legged monsters crawled on my lap, I moaned, stupid Annabeth, you should've put one of those anti-spider sprays in your bag, well I did  but I'm tied up! Great way to start the first day of school, I sighed, you just missed half a class of algebra good job.

As I tried to scan my surroundings, all I could make out was a lightbulb and a dark figure, Luke.

"Let me GO!" I yelled as the chair beneath me clattered, I swear I could see his blue eyes, the ones I used to stare at whenever I was afraid on the run when I was 7. He used to hug me tight and assured me everything was fine, now he's using a piece of rope to hug me tight to a piece of wooden chair in a dull room.

"I'm not going to hurt yo-", "Of course you're not." I interrupted, I started to wriggle my hands through the ropes, I felt something at the back of my back-'pocket, a pocket knife. I keep them close whenever I might need them. I wriggled my hands to my pants and held on tight to the knife, as I tried, Luke walked closer towards me, slowly turning on another lightbulb.

Under its dim light, I made out a rectangle sized bright line, it was a doorway.

''Annie, I just need to ask you some questions," Luke said as his eyes met mine.

"And why do you expect me to give you answers?" I scoffed.

"Because I have the power to take away you and your friends' status in this school, never letting you to be enrolled in any highschool or school." Luke grinned.

I was stunned, he couldn't do that to us, I was starting to like this school, the architect classes, the normalness that we haven't felt in years, he can't just snatch that away from my friends.

"Luke, let. Me. Go." I heaved, the air was getting hotter and stuffier, "You would not want to see me without these ropes around my wrists."

"Well let's see if 7 years of training paid off Annie." Luke laughed.

I grabbed on to my knife and started gingerly cutting the ropes off without spilling my blood all over the floor. As the ropes loosened, I stuffed my knife in my pocket while trying to pretend to moan that the ropes were too tight.

As Luke inched closer and closer to me, I prayed that Percy would find his way here because I couldn't get the ropes off my ankles.

"Back to the question." Luke smiled. "If I die again, wil-" Luke could barely finish when the door burst opened. Someone shouted.

"I wonder what are the odds for one against 10 Mr. Luke."
