Hera 'died'

hey its me percy again... its been a long way since i first stepped foot in Camp Half-Blood.. Annabeth and i walked down the hill of long island and gazed into the milky white sky. zeus was mad, we haven't had a clear blue sky for weeks. as we both walked to the big house hand in hand, Annabeth gave me a kiss and hugged me before i went to the camp meeting for her. she needed to finish the final touches on olympus and fix some god's shrine in camp jupiter.

"hey percy come on in and take a seat" chiron said. "as you all know zeus has been peeing himself over the loss of Hera..." dead silence filled the room. gods cant die. thats not possible especially for one of the big 12 gods. this was impossible and most likely would end up in the third and fourth world war. hera was the wife of zeus the god of gods, no way he would let this slip.

not that i like hera or anything, i actually hate her so this news was actually a song to my ears. my main fear was being sent on another quest to find hera's remnants for zeus to reincarnate her.

"you two are to find hera's remnants and send it back to zeus." chiron added as if reading my mind. nico was the only one other than me and chiron in the house.

"no i wont." nico said abruptly.
"you must, it is a demand from zeus, that the best of the best in Camp Half-Blood were to go on this quest." chiron said solemnly.
"isnt zeus the h u s b a n d of hera???? shouldn't he be the one searching for her????!!" I HATE DOING THE GODS DIRTY WORK.  THEY HAVE TOO MUCH TIME ON THEIR HANDS.

chiron filled us on the latest details of hera's whereabouts where she was visiting tartarus to grant hades and persephone a smooth childbirth. (A/N the only god i stan hades) chiron also told us that hades and persephone has been held as a suspect for hera's 'death'. although its not possible for a god to die, if the god's head is separated from their body, they wont be able to regenerate so we would have to find her bod and her stupid head.

i sighed to myself, well i guess at least me and nico can have some bonding time...

(A/N: HIII GUYS i miss u too, school started but i'm going to try my best and finish writing this quest for hera's body. then i'll probably do more mortals and the pjo and end this book 😭😭) let me know your thoughts!!!!
