Zayn's POV

Here I was putting things into my locker as the new school year started.

The only thing on my mind was Liam. He had left in mid June to go visit his grandparents for the whole summer. I haven't seen him for almost three months. I honestly kept smelling his sweater just wanting to be close with him in some way. Creepy I know, I just miss him so damn much.

He is suppose to be getting home today.

The bell soon rung, interrupting my thoughts. Sighing I slammed my locker only to jump once my eyes caught sight of Louis right next to me.

"Shit Louis! Scared the shit out of me." I said while holding my hand over my chest.

Louis smiled and giggled.

"Sorry mate just had to come say hi. Where you heading this mod?" He said happily.

"Trigonometry, you?" I said still trying to recover from the scare he gave me.

"Same. Lets walk together." He said smiling at me.

Shaking my head we began walking to class. As we entered the class room our male teacher stopped and glared at us.

"So nice for you to join us Mr. Malik and Mr. Tomlinson." He said sarcastically.

What a perfect way to start the year off I thought.

Louis raised his hand and spoke up.

"Sorry teach my fault. Knocked Zayn's stuff out of his hands." He said causally.

The teacher sighed and pointed to the two empty seats in the back.

"Fine just take your seats gentlemen and it's Mr. Breton to you. Not teach." He said irritated.

Sitting down I sighed once more. This was going to be a long and strange day.

Lunch had passed and sadly I didn't have the same lunch mod as the rest of the boys. So I ate outside at the picnic tables by myself. I was a bit worried I hadn't see Liam yet, but I just assumed he staid home from his long trip. Taking another bite of my sandwich someone spoke in front of me.

"Can I sit here?"

Looking up I saw a white haired lad. For some odd reason I thought he looked familiar. Shaking my head he smiled before sitting down.

"Can't believe I ran into you. How has it been going?" He chuckled out.

Raising a brow he sighed.

"Michael? I'm Luke's boyfriend."

I made an 'oh' sound realising that's where I knew him from.

"Right right. Yeah I remember you. You have this lunch mod too?" I asked hopefully.

Sadly though he shook his head.

"Only for today because they mixed around my classes, sorry." He said.

I quickly waved my hand and smiled.

"No worries. I'm just sorry they messed up your classes." I spoke.

He shook his head before raising a finger.

"Oh forgot to ask. Where is that hunk of a boyfriend of yours at?" He grinned out before we both busted up in laughter.

"He is suppose to get back from visiting his grandparents today, so I'm not even real sure if he is coming to school." I said.

Shaking his head we both paused to hear the bell go off. Sighing we both got up to leave to our next class.
