I looked over to see Gabby big cheesing at me. I rolled my eyes and got my stuff together. Once the bell rung I hopped out my my seat and sped walk out the door. Gabby was trying to keep up with me but her little legs couldn't keep up. "Hey!" I heard a deep voice call out. I turned around to see Langston walking up to me. "So look partner we gotta work together, now after school I'm coming to your house and we can work on this damn project." he said. "Today?" I asked "No the next day after the project is due." he said sarcasticly. I smiled and nodded my head ok. Then Tori come walking out the class and gave Langston a kiss and a hug clearly to make me jealous. "Hey babe." he said after their kiss. "I see this is your partner." Tori said fake smiling. I swear I would beat this hoe ass now at this moment. "Hello Zaya." she said rolling her eyes "Tony." I said "It's Tori!" she said getting defensive. Langston and Gabby was giggling. Tori hit Langston to stop him from laughing. "Well give me your number so you can text me your address to your house." Langston said reaching for my phone. I gave him mines. I saved my contact under "Z😈👊" and in my phone his name was "Partner in crime😈😘😘"

Me and Gabby went our own way. "Omg! your def going to take him away for that Tori bitch or should I say Tony." she said referring to my joke earlier. "Nahh I don't think so." I said but all I could do was smile.

After school me and Gabby waited for my brother to come get us. I decided to text Langston my address. "Alright boo 😘 " he responded. I looked at my phone crazy then a big ass smile appeared on my face. "Oooh, y'all flirtingggg!" Gabby said looking at my phone. "See this is why I have my brightness down cause your ass." I said laughing. My brother pulled up and we hopped in. "Heyyy Julian.""Hey Gabby." he said. Everytime they around each other I laugh. We pulled up to the house, as I got out I notice Julian wasn't coming in. "Oh I'm having company over for a project we have to do." I said catching him off guard. "Company, project, at the beginning of the school year? Are you lying about something?" he asked I looked at him like he crazy. "Now when do I ever ask for company and yes we do have a project that was assigned today and we have partners." I said sounding frustrated. "Alright but order some pizza cause ain't shit to eat in the house." Julian said reaching me money. "Alright catch you later." I said while he was pulling off.

I decide to straighten the house before Langston came over. As I was sweeping the floor Langston texted saying he was on his was and he had Chris with him for Gabby. 20 minutes later the door bell rung. I told Gabby to get it cause I was busy upstairs. She squealed and ran to the door. "Hello guys!" I heard her say. I was upstairs rolling a couple of blunts just in case they wanted to smoke. I jogged downstairs to see Everyone standing there looking lost. "Hello make yourself at home." I said Langston and Chris sat on the couch. "Y'all didn't bring no supplies or nothing?" I asked looking confused. "Nope." Chris said staring a Gabby which made her giggle. "Well how the hell we gone start on this project?" I asked looking a Langston for an answer. "We actually came her to chill with y'all." Langston said staring at the ceiling. "Ooook...." I said still confused. "Come sit down." Langston said as he hit the seat next to him. I sat down looking at him crazy. "I need a blunt.." I mumbled looking away. "I got ya." Chris said. He pulled out 4 blunts that was already rolled up. I was still confused on the fact that they just came over. I felt Langston stare at me while I took at hit. "That maryjane will get you right." he said "I know." I responded. "What made y'all come here and not wanna work on the project?" Gabby asked turning down the blunt. "Dang we can't come chill with some pretty girls?" Chris said putting his arm around Gabby. She so easily influence she drowned in his words. I look at Langston he nodded his head in agreement to what Chris just said. "But you have a girlfriend." Gabby said referring to Langston. "She have her moments and I bust out, if I wanna hang out with two other girls I can." I just sat there lost as fuck.

"I still feel weird about this." Then Langston phone when off. "Aww fuck I gotta take this." he said getting up. "So miss Gabby what you like to do for fun?" Chris asked making conversation. "Anything that involves me laughing." she replied, I just shook my head. Langston came back in side. He said next to me but even closer with is arm around me, I felt like I was melting out his grip. "Well, I'm single and back on the market." he said I turn my head to Gabby who was just big cheesing at Chris. "Ayy, I wanna see your room cause I know you got some cool shit in there." Langston said. At this point I was lost at words cause this fine ass lightskin boy of my dreams was in my house under me. I got up and lead him to my room. "Damn sweets this is hot." He said I laughed "It's Zaya and thanks." "Well Zaya this room is was up." I forgot I had to blunts on my computer desk and he noticed it. "Bruh you are a true stoner huh?" "Yea." I never had a boy besides my brother and dad before he died call my pretty. He sat on my bed and asked for the weed that was on the desk, I handed them to him. "So what happened between you and Tori?" I asked trying to make conversation. "She got mad earlier cause I said I was coming over here, then she called me, I told her where I was and she told me to never talk to her again.. but I think she just on her period." he said causing me to laugh. We both got up and left out my room. I look to see Gabby and Chris having a make out session. Daaaaammn. "Nigga let's go!" Langston yelled to Chris. "Iight man let me get a few more kisses in." "Imma walk you outside." I told Langston. he smiled at me, God ! "So I guess imma see you at school on Monday" (the first day of School started on a Friday) I said looking away. "You gone see me tomorrow and probably Sunday. I like you, your different Zaya." I couldn't help but love the words he was saying. He opened his arms out for a hug, I slowly walked up to him and hugged him. It felt right and like I was going to be safe in his arms. Chris ass came out the house finally to see us hugging which was awkwardly long. "Damn y'all gone see each other again." "Says the nigga who was kissing his girl like he haven't seen her in years, so shut up and get in the car." "Alright ma, text me." Langston said getting in the car. I nodded my head to an agreement and walked off into the house.
