Today we planned to go see Chris and my brother with his new babies. "Come on Langston, slow ass. I yelled while eating grapes. "I'm ready girl!" he yelled coming the stairs. "Bout time come on cause I'm ready to see my nieces and check on Chris." I said grabbing the bag of grapes, purse, and keys.
I got in the car and started it, Langston finally came out the house and got in the car. "No, you can't eat my grapes nigga!" I yelled while he tried yo reach in my bag. He sucked his teeth and sat back in the seat. "So happen when you went to go see Chris?" I asked. "He was in a coma and gabby was crying. Man that's fucked up who ever did this." After he finished talking his phone started ringing. "Hello, WHO DID IT? Alright, imma stop by over around three. ight." He hung up. "Who was that?" I asked. "Someone from the trap, he said he found out who shot Chris." he said looking out the window. I wish this all wasn't happening everything was back to normal.
We pulled up to the hospital and walked to my brother and Eva's room. "Hey happy family!" I said coming in. "Hey Z." Julian said smiling holding one of the twins. "What's there names?" I asked reaching for one. "Kaylin and Jaylin." Eva said sitting up in her seat."Wheres Langston?" Julian asked. "He either out there or went on the next floor to see Chris." I said playing with the baby finger. "What happen to him." Eva asked. "He got shot night before last." I said. "Damn, I think I seen that on the news just didn't know if that was him." Julian said. I got up and gave Julian a hug and Eva and kissed the twins. I got on the elevator for the next floor. "Hey beautiful!" this random guy said. "Hi." I said dryly. "What you doing here, you look like you suppose to be in somebody music video." he said. I looked at him like he was the dumbest person ever. "Oh, you not like that huh?" he asked. "No." I said shaking my head. "Oh, well my name is Vegas and I produce music videos." he said. "Zaya, I take care of my family." I said with a weak smile then rolled my eyes. "Well Zaya it was nice meeting you. Here'd my card if you ever wanna do a video, photo shoot, or anything call me." he said then he walked off the elevator. I put the card in my purse and got off. I walked to Chris room and Gabby came running giving me a hug. "Oh my gosh your finally here." she said. "Yea, sorry for keeping you waiting." I said. Chris had finally woken up. "A one day coma, wow." I said walking up to him. "Yea.. crazy." he responded. "How you feeling?" I asked him. "Ok now, but it was like my life flashed before my eyes." he explained. "Wow, well I'm glad you here with us today." I said. "Did Langston ever come." I asked looking around the room. "Yea, he did like a five minute stop and left." Gabby said giving William his juice. "So he's gone?" I asked sounding disappointed. "Yea, he left. Someone called him and he busted out." Chris said.
Well Chris you get better, Gabby stay strong, and William you be good." I said then I lefted. Someone must have picked him up cause the car was still here. I got in and drove off. I didn't know what to do with myself at this point. I tried calling Langston but no respond.
