3 Months Later
Julian is still in a coma but he have been moving around like he's been trying to wake up. I quit the job and dropped Darien, he been causing trouble. Langston chilled with the trapping, he still go out and make the money and come right home.
Today is one of the days we going to go visit Julian. Everyone was coming. Julia, Eva, Chris, and Gabby. We all met in his room and hugged. Eva stood over Julian while we all talked. "I remember the first time we all started talking when that teacher assigned us as partners." Chris said holding Gabby hands. Oh yea, Langston and I wedding is almost ready. In two more weeks we'll be married. "Yea, I remembered." I said smiling. "We've been through some shit foreal." Langston said. "Only for it to get better." I stated. Eva just sat there and listened. As we laughing and talking. Eva squealed. We all looked over. Julian had woken up. He put his hands over his face. We hopped up and surrounded him. "Julian?" I asked. "Huh?" he said sounding confused.
"How you feeling?" Langston asked. "Alright I guess...Where am I ?" he asked. "Your in the hospital... but your ok." Eva said quickly. He just sat up. We helped him up. "How long was I sleep?" He asked briefly. "You where in a coma and about three four months."Langston said. "Damn." Julian said. He looked over at me. I turned my head. "Zaya, I'm so-" "Look, i don't wanna here it ok. You tried to take you life and leave my here. You was the only one that had my back before all of them." I spat. "I know, and I'm sorry." he said. "Nah, it's going to take me awhile to forgive you." I said. "Y'all let's just step out the room and let them talk." Julia said. Everyone agreed and walked out.
"Baby sis, so much shit was going on in my life." "Like what Julian? Every time I saw you, you looked like the happiest man alive." I said trying to hold back my tears. "Looks can be deceiving." he stated. I just shook my head and looked away. "If something was the problem, why you didn't talk to me. I could of helped you." "Zaya, it's more too it." he spat. "How mom and dad woulda felt?" I asked. "Disappointed, hurt..." he mumbled. "The words you said is how I feel. We all family by blood and just being together close enough and long enough." I said. He just sat there. "You helped me. Now I help you." I said staring out the window. "There's a reason why you still here with us." after I said that I stormed off and out the room. Langston tried following me but Gabby stopped him. I ran outside and sat on the bench. This was one of my over dramatic moments. I cried and cried. People would stop and ask if I was ok like they really care. It looked like it wanted to rain so I got up and went back inside. I saw Langston walking up to me. He opened his arms for a hug. I fell into the hug. I squeezed him tight. "Don't leave my side." I mumbled with my face in his chest. "I got you baby. Hold on tight." he said. I let go of the hug and he wiped the tears off my face. We walked back to everyone else. "They said they gone let him stay over another night or two and then he can go home." Eva said. We all said our goodbyes to Julian and Eva and left.
