"Ight, yea. at least 10 hit mans. Yea, my girl and son, mother and little sister. Ight, imma come threw tomorrow and make a few drops, ight mane." I hung up the phone and walk back to the living room. "So what he say?" Chris asked. "He got us, at least 10 niggas watching over us but me myself I got Tori ass." I said. Gabby and Z was coming back in with the kids. "So we good?" Z asked putting Austin in his high chair. "Yea, we good. He sending out the best of the best." I said. Chris, Gabby, and William was getting ready to go. "Alright bruh!" I said dapping Chris. "Ight cuz." he said. Then I hugged Gabby and Z hugged Chris and they left. Z grabbed Austin and walked up stairs with him. "Zaya!" I said stopping her. "What?" she asked turning around on the step. "I love you no matter what. Don't forget that." I said with all my heart. "I know, and I love you too." She said smiling. Then Austin started to cry and Z started back up the stairs. I smiled to myself and sat out in the back yard.
I felt a pair of hands rub down my chest. "Babe, I honestly truly love you." I heard Z voice say. I turned around kissed her cheek. She came and sat on my lap. We sat there watching the stars and talking about the good times we had. She was starting to fall asleep and I carried her inside and laid her on the couch. I walked in the kitchen to fix me some water and came back to the living room and she was gone. I walked up stairs checked on Austin who was sound asleep peacefully. Then I walked in my room, Z was in the shower. I laid in the bed and turned on the tv. My phone started ringing. "Hello.. he ok? Alright I'm on my way!" I got up out back on my pants and shoes. "What's the matter?" I heard Z asked. "Chris, Gabby said he got shot and his in the hospital." yelled through the bathroom door. I grabbed my keys and phone and sped off to the hospital.
"Room A237." I said to the lady at the table. She point to the right and I ran. I walked down the A hall until 237. I knocked then came in. I seen Gabby crying holding William while he's sleep and Chris was in the bed in a deep cold coma. Gabby looked up and seen me she did a gang smile and looked down at William. "What happened?" I asked sitting in the chair. "We was just making it home and this dark car pulled up an stop, Chris got out and walked to it then a window just rolled down and shot three times and sped off." she said trying to hold back her tears. I sat there in disbelief. Who ever this was, they was going to get there issue. "Where's Z?" Gabby asked. "I left her and Austin and she was in the shower, but we gone come threw tomorrow." I said. I got up hugged Gabby and left.
