we got to my moms house and i run to my room shutting the door close

i cant even explain how i'm feeling right now, i just want to smash lexis head against the wall right now

my room door opens and joey walks towards me, "what's wrong baby" he holds my hands

"i'm just mad okay" i pull my hands away and sit down on my bed

"i mean you were going to have to talk at some point" he shrugs his shoulder

"i know but i didn't want it like this, we didn't even talk it out we just yelled at each other" i tell him

"i'm sorry princess" joey kisses my cheek

"i shouldn't have went"

"i know baby i'm sorry this is all my fault" joey pulls me to him and wraps his arms around me

"it's okay at least your here" i look up at him and he looks at the door

"i'm always here" he then looks at me and kisses my nose, "wheres jay?" he ask

"he's with my mom" my mom is such a big help right now i'm so thankful for her

"elena" i hear my mother call from downstairs

"yes?" i yell back

"a friend has come to see you" she says

me and joey both look at each other, "who?" he whispers

"i don't know" i walk out my room with joey following behind me

ruby, my best friend since third grade. the last time i saw her was 2 years ago, she would pick me up everyday and we would go to school together

"ruby?" i am confused when i notice how different she looks, she dyed her hair darker but it looks beautiful on her

"joey?" ruby's jaw drops and i instantly feel regret, how does she know him?

"come in" my mom opens the door wider for her

"is this your baby brother?" ruby points to jay who's in my mother's hands

"no... that's my..." i don't know how to feel right now, ruby nods understanding what i was trying to say

"i haven't seen you in so long" she hugs me and i hug her back

"hey joey" ruby smiles at him, joey smiles back at her

"i heard you were back so i came to check up on you and you already have a baby!" her eyes light up

"yea it's been a while" i laugh

"what's his name?" she ask

"jay" i smile

"you guys want any cookies?" my mom ask from the kitchen, no matter how old we are my mom will still treat us like children

i follow ruby in the kitchen as joey follows behind me smacking my butt, i turn around and grab his arm, "how does she know you?" i ask

he looks behind me to check if ruby was listening and she wasn't, "she was my one night stand a while ago" he answer my question

"oh" i feel uncomfortable now

he lifts my chin up, "look baby, it's over and was more then 2 years ago"

"yea i know it's just.... never mind"

"okay now let's go eat some cookies" he squeezes my butt again and i swat his arm

"these cookies are amazing" ruby tells my mom

"thank you, me and jay made them" my mom laughs

jay tries to get out of my moms arms and into mine, i finally hold my baby and kiss his cheek

"so how's the dad?" ruby ask

"me" joey clears his throat

"oh wow, how long have you guys been together for?" ruby smiles

"almost 2 years" i answer

my mom takes out some milk and gives it to ruby "thank you" ruby says to my mom

"how was school?" my mom ask ruby

"it was great! we all graduated a couple months ago and i got accepted to USC" ruby looks at me, "it was our dream school remember?"

i nod, "yea i remember"

USC was my dream school, i had my whole life planned out when i graduate high school. ruby and i would always talk about it and how much fun it would be if we had a dorm together but some dreams never come true

"are you going?" she takes a bite from my moms cookie

"no i'm not, me and joey are actually moving to london in a month" i tell her

"london?" her jaw drops

"yea, we want to leave and start a new life there" i say proudly

"and i'm going to marry your fine ass" joey blurts out and we all start laughing

"you better not forget about me" ruby takes a sip from the milk

"me too" my mom raises a eyebrow at me

"i won't forget about you guys" i don't make any promises

"we'll invite you guys to our wedding" joey wraps his arm around me

"y'all better pay for my plane ticket" my mom jokes

ruby and my mom both laugh, "so i see you and your mom got along" ruby says

she was my best friend for the longest and i told her everything, i'm surprised she even remembered about me and my moms constant fights

"yea we get along now" i look at my mom

"that's great" ruby smiles

ruby stayed for 2 hours and we all talked about our past and what we're going to do in the future, my mom made us dinner, chicken, which is ruby's favorite dish.

we all laughed and cried together, i forgot what it was like having ruby around all the time and i'm really glad she came to check up on me. she leaves to USC in a few weeks and i'm so sad that i'll probably never see her again

i kiss her cheek goodbye and wait for her to get in the car before i close my door and call it a night

"she's such a good girl" my mom watches me close the door

"i know" i yawn

jay fell asleep on my shoulder about 10 minutes ago and joeys already in my room sleeping, he had to take a call and i guess he just got tired and fell asleep

"goodnight mom" i say walking up the stairs

"goodnight elena" my mom says

i walk into my room and change jays diaper before putting him in his baby crip, i put a blanket on him and kiss him goodnight

i tie my hair up and walk over to my bed, joeys sleeping so beautifully and i can't help but fall in love with him even more

i lay down next to him and play with his ear, he's so fucking cute i don't think i'll ever get over him

he makes me feel so different, he makes me so happy. i want to spend the rest of my life with him

i cant wait until we get married and move to london, fuck i love him so much

i find myself crying and i wipe my tear, gosh i cant even explain how i feel and i feel like i repeat the same thing all the time, i wish i could say more than i love you
